Car description |

1986 Porsche 911 Coupe.
This Carrera is a really nice driver with higher miles. My daily driver 964 has over 550k miles and looks like a 35k mile car. Having owned literally hundreds of air cooled cars, I've always found that high mile cars with great history make the best drivers.
The motor in this coupe was just replaced with a 100k mile unit from LA Porsche dismantlers. The original unit developed two broken headstuds so a replacement unit with excellent compression and leak down numbers was sourced. All told, about $12,500 worth of parts and labor were invested in the swap and other "while you are in there" fixes.
The paint is very nice with some typical minor flaws. The front seats were recently redone in leather and look perfect. The dash has some typical cracks and would benefit from a cap or replacement.
A local viewing is welcome and encouraged with appointment. We are happy to help buyers worldwide with shipping and freight logistics.
