1983 Porsche 928 S, Auto Trans, 87k Miles, Excellent, Silver and Black

This exceptionally well preserved Porsche 1983 S in pewter metallic (silver) with black leather interior is in outstanding condition and has 87k original miles. The paint and body have no scratches or dings, the dash has no cracks and the leather seats are perfect. Originally purchased in New York, the car was driven sparingly and only in summers until it was later sold to an enthusiast in Texas who kept the car maintained in top condition, but drove it very little.

1983 is the first year of the S model in the U.S. (larger 4.7L V8 engine, spoilers and other performance improvements), and the car comes equipped with the 4 speed automatic transmission (engineered by Mercedes Benz), power driver and passenger seat, air conditioning, power windows, sunroof, and all of the other typical luxury features.

Within the past two thousand miles, the car was treated to a high quality (trim removed) respray in its original Pewter metallic color, an engine out reseal, new timing belt, water pump, belts, hoses, spark plug wires, spark plugs, fuel hoses and any other items that needed refreshed. The transmission, brakes and AC were all serviced. Coolant, brake fluid and power steering fluid all renewed. All services are up to date and everything functions as it should except for the windshield washers and the cruise control. The battery is new. Recent maintenance expenses alone exceed the reserve price for the car.

Finding a car of this quality with all services up to date is highly uncommon. This car can be driven regularly or preserved. I have an addiction to Porsche 928s, and this is one of the nicest I have owned. You will not be disappointed.

The car comes completes with service records, owner's manuals and complete tool kit. The title is clean and a Carfax is available upon request.
