1987 Porsche 928S4 Coupe finished in a very rare color of Cassis Red Metallic over Linen/Burgundy leather. This 928 left the Porsche Stuttgart production line December of 1986 and was then invoiced to Champion Motors in Pompano Beach Florida and sold to its first owner on April 8, 988. This 928S4 remained in FL until 2003 when the second owner of the car a Porsche Club member, urchased it and brought it to Virginia. The car was maintained by a Porsche specialist all throughout the ownership in Virginia by IMA Motorsports until the 3rd owner also a Porsche Club member, urchased the car in 2009 and brought it to Wisconsin where it was also maintained by Porsche mechanics. The car is finished in a beautiful and rare shade of Cassis Red Metallic and is in outstanding condition. The paint shows beautifully with no fade or cracking anywhere (one small scrape on the back driver side rear bumper and a hairline crack in the passenger side front turn signal) and no damage or dents in the body. The interior is all original and in stunning condition. The leather is still very soft and aside from slight wear on the driver seat bottom and side bolster, he interior shows minimal wear. All of the carpets are in excellent condition showing minimal wear as well as the headliner and back seat. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracking or shrinkage (gauge cluster binnacle has a hairline crack down the middle) and still retains a nice non faded color. Even the steering wheel is in excellent condition free from damage or fade. All of the power equipment appears to be operating as designed including the power windows, oor locks, ruise control, ower seats, eated seats, irrors (drivers mirror is slow to move up and down) sunroof, ear hatch release and AC. The headlights move up and down as designed and all of the exterior and interior lights are functioning as designed. The original factory radio is still intact and working without any issues. The engine starts right up and runs beautifully. There is no smoke under start up or acceleration and the engine pulls strong through all of the gears. The transmission is smooth and shifts into all of the gears without any issues. The brakes feel excellent and free from any pulsating or fade and the suspension and steering are nice and tight, ree from any noises, rifting play. The car has newer tires on them with about 85% tread life left and the brakes have about 45% life left. The timing belt was replaced at 55,000 miles and the car has just undergone a service and a new window switch and a new speed sensor. There is no accident history or any damage on this 928, he undercarriage is clean and rust free. The car has a clean Carfax and clean and clear title. This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a beautifully maintained 928S4 that has been well cared for and in excellent condition finished in a rare color combination.
