Car description

I am offering for your consideration my almost new, 976 Porsche 911s. Although I really like this little car, have found another toy I wish to purchase. The little car is Guards Red, ith a beautiful Taninterior. The seats have very recently been recovered with champagne custom fit covers from California. They breathe through the thousands of tiny holes. The seat padding is new. There are brand new (still in the box) matching floor mats with 911s stitched in (see photos). The original radio was replaced with a Blaupunkt digital am/fm/cd player. Air conditioning works, ut probably needs charging. It blows cold, ut not ice cold. All the lights work properly. The speedometer was very recently sent to Richmond Virginia for calibration and to have the gears in the trip odometer replaced. It is now just right and the trip odometer works correctly and resets as it should.Under the "bonnet", ront trunk, he carpet is new and attached properly, he fuse box is secure and in place as it should be. The fog lights work properly. All the gauges work and are accurate. All the instrumentation lights work, ven the light in the glove box. The engine runs smoothly and accelerates as it should. Remember, e are talking about 163 hp, o don't expect a cobra-like hole shot. However, do believe it will do what is on the speedometer top end. (I haven't tried, 'm 66 years old!) The little car drives like it is on rails. There are no oil leaks. I have no idea how many miles to the gallon it gets, ho cares? It is red, hiny in excellent shape and a lot of FUN! I have replaced a broken heater control wire, o now the heater/defrost works properly. (If you can figure out the correct combination of settings for the controls. It is very confusing to me.)The little car is not a show winner. It is a great cruising car. It is nice to ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway with your sweetie. It drives great, ounds good and looks good. The tires are almost new Continentals with 85 - 90% of the tread remaining. The A/C has been refitted to the new refrigerant (see photos). I do not have the original owner's manual. I have a clear Virginia title. I am running antique Virginia tags on the car. To my knowledge the car has never been in any accidents. It was a California car before coming east. There are some extra parts that go with it; the red headlight rings and the air pump (smog) which meets California emission requirements. I have done my best to accurately describe the car truly. The car is sold as is, here it is and no warranty is neither expressed nor implied. You are welcome to see the car and drive it prior to purchase, r have your representative do the same. Purchaser will be responsible for shipping, ocal pickup only. I have a couple of Porsche books and a brand new custom fit car cover which I will throw in. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. And no, will not share my reserve price with anyone. On Aug-20-15 at 03:57:38 PDT, eller added the following information:

The engine was rebuilt when the car had 149936 miles on it. I have invoices detailing the parts, tc. will send copies of the invoices to those who request them. Sorry I forgot to put that info in the original ad.

When this little car was first listed I got many request for more pictures. If I am able, will add pictures, f not, lease email me for additional photos. I have many more. I am reducing the "buy it now" price from $35,000.00 to $30,000.00. I hope this will ease some minds. The little car is in great shape. Look at my feedback score, ou'll see that I am a straight shooter. I do not know for sure if the A/C was on the car when it was purchased new. I do not know how to tell. I do not believe that the car has ever been in any accidents. One perspective buyer said he thought it had been hit on the left front. I have more pictures of the wheel wells as well as the door jams and hinges. I do not see any evidence of a collision.
