This excellent rust and accident free 911 can not be sold / registered in California for road use as its catalytic converter and air pump are absent. It must be sold out of state, r as a track car. Unless new owner wishes to retrofit these items and 'smog' the vehicle.This car benefits from having been set up and owned by some knowledgeable people. It recently received a glass out quality respray with powder coated window trim, new rubber, ood emblem.Engine and transmission were fully rebuilt by Bob Farmer at Farmer's Automotive (long time air cooled Porsche specialists) approx. 26K miles ago. This balanced / blueprinted 'Stage 1' engine featured JE 9.8:1 pistons, ilivar studs, orted cyl. heads w/ upgraded valve train (perf. v. springs, alves), ressure fed Carrera chain tensioners. CIS injection features 930 turbo injectors, tc.. Exiting through SSI headers and an early style muffler. This set up makes approx. 210 - 220 h.p.. Transmission was rebuilt (new clutch assy.) w/ factory short shift.Suspension consists of custom valved Bilstein dampers, urbo torsion bars, eltmeister 22 mm anti-roll bars, strut tower brace. Car was professionally lowered by 911 suspension expert Craig Watkins (SmartRacing Products) w/ performance alignment / corner balance ($1,000.).Car has desireable 16X7 / 16X8" Fuch alloys wearing strong Bridgestone RE050A performance tires.Finished off with Factory aerodynamic pieces; front spoiler, are early 930 tail, uro lenses and rear bumper guards, 4 headlights w/ painted rings.Inside; Sparco leather Sport Seats recline w/ harness provision. 'RS' door panels, eriod correct Ruf raised hub steering wheel, luminum pedals, DO analog oil temp. gauge was fitted (with numbers in favor of 'zones').Although car is now A/C delete in keeping with it's sporting intentions, t features P/W, ruise and headlight washers (!).Featuring proper upgrades to enhance its performance, hile maintaining its original flavor, e hope this 911 brings smiles for years to come - as intended.Previous owners include Excellence Magazine Editor Pete Stout (an image of this car adorned his column for years).
