Porsche 911 S Targa / 3.0 Motor / Fast ! / 18K in updates

1974 Porsche 911S Targa. Arizona car with Approximately 46,500 miles. It is a Carrera RS 'tribute' car (not a real RS or we would be talking $1MM+) with a tight/clean/fast 3.0 ltr motor with all proper updates and many improvements as described below. Work performed: Over $18K has been spent on the car in last 2k miles / 6 years - All work performed by Porsche specialist:2009 - 3.0 Motor with correct updates including chain tensioners, 4) oil return tubes, alves adjusted, pdated pop-off valve, nstall new Fadanza racing flywheel and Centerforce Clutch, oni Shocks, anske Exhaust, ennin Strut Tower Brace.2013 - New Dunlop SP Sport 8000 tires mounted to original clean/straight Porsche OEM 15" 7" & 8" Fuchs rims. 2015 - New Corbeau (Heated) adjustable racing seats, new carpeting, estored front 'S' calipers (Late S), replaced plug wires, ngine tuned, new fuel pump, uel mixture adjusted to factory spec., new battery. Things that may/may not need attention based on your desire:-Power window switches do not operate - Driver side works when jumped.-Heated seats are not switched off by the key so they stay on when car is off.-Needs rear seat 'pad' on passenger side.-There is no radio, eat, r A/C. -Body has a few very minor blemishes. Worst is driver rear under bumper.Targa Top:The Targa top is like new and fits well. The cloth inside is clean and fits properly. The seals are in good shape and fit properly.Seats:The Corbeau custom racing seats were ordered in the 'wide' version, re very comfortable, nd will fit most drivers. They are heated (2 stage), ave the double locking option, nd adjust easily to fit your position. The back adjusts as well. Brakes:The 'S' brakes stop the car very well. The parking brake works as it should. Lights:The drivings lights are H4 and work will on High and Low. The interior night lighting and turn signals work as well.Interior:The interior is clean and most everything is present. The seats and carpet are new. The gauges show some age but are all functional. There is no radio, eat, r A/C. The rear panels over the rear seats need clips to hold them securely in place. There are no sun visors.Engine:The engine is a non-numbers matching 3.0 litre EOM Porsche motor. As you may know, he '74 2.7ltr had it's share of issues... This motor has had the proper updates, uns very well, ounds throaty and strong, nd will pass any mechanical inspection. Body:The body is straight and solid, nd the paint is very glossy. It has good gaps. There are a few blemishes in the paint. It was repainted several years ago, nd the original color looked to be bright Silver. I am not aware of when or why the color was changed. The duck tail is fiberglass and sits a bit high over the rear deck. Not sure why, ut it is adjustable.Overall:The car is 41 years old and in very good overall running condition. Not without it's flaws, ou are buying an extremely quick and very drivable 911 S 3.0 Targa that can be enjoyed for another several generations. There should be no issue flying in and driving it home to your garage anywhere in the USA, lthough I would recommend a trailer to avoid road grime! That said it is a 41-year old car and must be sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. Inspection: I can provide a few references of local mechanics who can inspect the car, hat have not already seen the car. In the interest of fairness, feel a clean first look would be the best route for you as the buyer. I do not know what they will charge to inspect it. You can arrange the timing and payment directly with them, r you are welcome to arrange your own inspection and I will do my best to accommodate timing.
