1966 Lemans,GTO, LS1,Convertible

HI, have owned this car for approx. 3 years. When I bought i, t was a painted shell. NO CHROME-TOP-DRIVE TRAIN-GLASS--WHEELS TIRES-LIGHTS. I started building this ca, you could say from scratch, he previous owner had the car painted, e passed away and car was sold at home auction. I bought a 2005 LS1 motor from a van, ut on the conversion for the power steering and alt. The intake is from a 2002 Camero, s well as the injectors. I had wiring harness made, s you can see in one of the engine pics, he computer is on right front corner with the GTO emblem on it in motor compartment. OBD2 hook up for it. It has a rebuilt Turbo 350, ith shift kit. I installed a Brand new wiring harness from front to back.The car looks like 4spd. I left the pedals in but bought a B&M shifter designed to look like the 4sd car. I put on the disc brake conversion kit from jegs on the front. It does have a positive trac rear end, ot sure on ratio, ut I would guess 373 or 355. The car tachs around 3 grand at 60 mph

The car has old style 17 inch looking wheel, ith brand new tires. The top is brand new, T IS A MANUAL TOP! I have not purchased the hydraulics to make it power. I have seen kits where they are sold for around $500 for everything. All interior is brand new, ncluding all the foam and springs. It has a Dakota Digital Dash, ll working as should. I have purchased a new wiper motor, ut have not installed it yet. The heater controls have not been hooked up yet, only drive it when it is nice out. I know the car has 1967 GTO grilles in it, ut I liked them better then the 66 style.

The car did have the GTO taillight panel welded in correctly, nd I purchased the light assembly to make everything. work.

This car still needs some tlc, r some of the minor things I have described. I am currently getting Divorced and could use the money for other things. ** I don't have to sell it- so don't waste your time and mine with STUPID offers.

I'm sure i have forgotten a lot I have done to this car, promise everywhere you drive it t, ou will have people talking about old car stories or giving the thumbs up!!!

H, I have hada lotof questions asking .What else needs to be done to finish the car. The kick panels need to be purchased,and installed.$120 "The parts place".The headlights need to be replaced, hey worked when Iassembledit a coupleyearsago, ut have since quit.I'msure they need replaced, hey were the T3, he transmission Kickdown cable needs to be hooked up,Ihadpurchased one from Lokar, hat would hook up the T350 to the LS motor,But have miss placed it when I moved,also the transmission lines need to be ran to radiator or a cooler.The back up lights need to be hooked up, ll thecomponentsare there.I only drive this car on summer days or evenings.- It runs and drives great! II try todescribeeverythingthat is wrong with my cars when I list them on Ebay to sell. Probably to the point of discouragement, ut I have never had 1 bad feed back and I have beensellingsince 1999.I also have a 1968 Convertible GTO,that I have done a complete Restore on. That is why all my attention was switched from this car.
