Super original untouched full size Pontiac muscle! 400 4-barrel buckets/console

Up for auction is my 1967 Grand Prix. This is from my personal collection. not bought to flip. I had an identical one in high school (even same color). so that was the draw for me to acquire it. This Grand Prix is extremely original and nearly mint condition. Approximately 70% of the car has its original paint. and it could use a fresh paint job. The interior is also mostly original (with an absolutely crack-free dash. which is almost unheard of. ) except for new door panels and carpet. The previous owner told me that he spent $400 on getting the factory AM/FM radio refurbished and it plays perfectly. with its front and rear speakers. I was also told that the engine is freshly rebuilt and has approximately 4500 miles on it. I believe him; it runs great. is quiet and doesn't burn or leak any oil. The original style radiator is also new. as well as the fan clutch. One of the most impressive details about the car is that the entire heating and factory A/C system works perfectly. using the original style GM A/C compressor. The previous owner mentioned that quite a bit of money went into getting the heating/air conditioning system back up to as-new condition. even going as far as removing ductwork to clean out years of accumulated dust. This car runs excellently and glides down the road. The front end has been rebuilt and there are new coil springs on all 4 corners. This is a 400/4-barrel engine with dual exhaust and currently has an Edelbrock Performer AFB carburetor with electric choke. but the freshly rebuilt original AFB and stock air cleaner is included. This car has power 4-wheel drum brakes. They stop fine and the car does not pull left or right when braking. The white vinyl top has been re-done and looks fine with no blemishes or tears. All 4 manual windows roll up and down fine. The speedometer works perfectly and the needle is rock-steady. There is no pitting on any of the interior chrome. The headliner and sun visors are in perfect condition. Another amazing aspect of this car is the factory clear steering wheel has no cracks or sun damage. The tilt steering column is also in perfect working condition. The previous owner also mentioned spending a fair amount of money on refurbishing that as well. The hidden headlight doors open and close fine every time. by themselves. The trunk area is another amazing area of this car. No rust whatsoever. and the original jack and lug wrench are correctly mounted. Notice that the rear wheel skirts are not mounted in the pics. but they are included. I also need to mention that the rear bumper is in need of rechroming. There is surface rust forming on it. The clock only seems to work when it wants to. and. the gas gauge is inoperative at this time. This car is in overall amazing original condition. and must have been garaged most of its life. It is not museum quality. whatsoever. though. It will need a paint job and a rear bumper re-plate to truly be outstanding. It would be extremely difficult to find a better starting point for a '67 Grand Prix hardtop for a resto. This car is basically a paint job away from near perfection!
