1979 Trans am last driven on road in 1996 when Transmission went out. It has 79,215 original miles on it. The paint on engine is original and looks to have low miles. The Brake pedal shows ware consisted to 79k miles also. It has a tow hitch on back for a trailer. Probably why transmission went out.Last year Transmission was rebuilt by a Professional trans shop that are known to be extremely good at rebuilding them. Shifts like new now.Engine has new oil and filter. Sounds very healthy. Carb could use rebuilt from sitting so long. new carpet and package tray.The body is original paint or very old. Has some rust that you can see in pictures. One small rust hole in back seat driver side floor the size of a nickel. Trunk, frame rails and everything else is very solid.Shift bezel is just laying on console. Needs secured. Gauges don't work. Car drives nice, no pulling or weird noises. Doors open and close nice, no sagging.Last year of the 6.6 Litre. It is a A/C car but needs work.Title is a 3 year bonded title . original title was lost so I had Sheriff come out to inspect it and I received a bonded title in my name for it last month.Nice start on a project car that needs restored.
