1978 Pontiac Trans Am Mechum L78 WS6 W72 four speed air car. Beautiful

Incredibly well documented and low mile Trans Am. This is an exceptionally well optioned car from the factory and has its original build sheet. It has a good and known ownership history and has been carefully preserved as original with the exception of one repaint done 15 years ago and well cared for since.
The car was ordered new from the factory with every possible performance and luxury option. It has the desirable L78 400 cubic inch V-8 mated to the M-21 manual transmission. It also has the W72 and WS6 engine and suspension performance packages from the factory!
It was then sent to Mecham Industries (DKM) for many performance upgrades. All of the documentation is included with the car.
The original owner didn't stop there. They also ordered the car with about every convenience and luxury option available including air conditioning, tilt wheel, power windows & locks and more. It is probably one of the most highly optioned four speed T/A's ever to come out of the factory.
The driving experience is incredible. It it really fast...will lay rubber through second gear...and really comfortable.
The car is in excellent overall condition having received only a repaint from new. There is no rust or rust repair anywhere. The car has never been crashed or abused.
The ownership history is known as well. We have the early owners information and the car was owned by legendary collector and TV star Richard Rawlings. of Fast N Loud fame. This T/A was featured on an episode where it was sold as part of a 22 car deal to St Louis collector Scotty Brandt.
