Car description

The final generation of the Pontiac Trans Am from the mid-1990s is becoming more popular. With swoopy aerodynamics and bulletproof mechanicals, these cars are great drivers. In 1994, Pontiac created the Trans Am GT. It is the only year that Pontiac used the GT moniker on the Trans Am.

For sale is my 1994 Pontiac Trans Am GT. I am the second owner of this car. The Trans Am GT was equipped for touring. Its fine leather lumbar adjustable driver seat and cold A/C make it a comfortable ride. Adjust the leather tilt wheel, switch on the cruise control, sit back, and enjoy the ride. The fold-down rear seat and deep trunk space offer plenty of room for luggage, a cooler, and some folding chairs. The character of the car can be adjusted. If you press the Factory Transmission Perform button on the console, it will upshift harder under acceleration and put a smile on your face. The car is fast enough to enjoy but remains controllable and sure-footed.

This car is in remarkable condition. As the pictures show, it has only 13,346 miles on it. It also has a new battery and brand-new Goodrich Comp TA tires mounted on Factory Trans Am wheels. During the decade I have owned this car, it has never been in the rain or has been wet. After a drive, it gets sprayed and wiped down with Mother's detail spray and covered. According to the original owner, he also never had the car in the rain, not once. Although I cannot verify that, you can judge this yourself looking at the pictures.

The car is also equipped with Factory Ram Air, a Borla stainless steel exhaust, and has a great sound. Speaking of great sounds, I replaced all the speakers and added a modern Jensen Stereo and a factory power antenna. The original radio is boxed and goes with the car.

In 2017, I decided to have the car shown and judged. Back then, it was not quite 25 years old, so they put it in the Modern Car class where it was judged against modern Challengers, Shelby Mustangs, and Corvettes. It took second place which speaks to the condition of the car. In 2019 it became 25 years old and was entered into the Vintage Pony Car class where it won the class (see the enclosed photo of both plaques). For 2020, the car was invited to be displayed at the prestigious Fountain Elms Invitational in Utica NY. Sadly, COVID canceled that event. The car has been invited back for 2021. Perhaps a new owner would like to take it there. The 2021 Invitation goes with the car.

Pricing a car in this condition is always difficult. However, this car has avoided the ravages of time, has been meticulously maintained and gently used. With low mileage and fine condition, I am asking a premium price for a premium car. I will accept offers and will assist with delivery. The pictures tell the story.
