Car description

Please readALL information included in this listing. Thank you!

If you have less than 10 feedbacks, please CONTACT US BEFORE BIDDING or we will cancel your bid.

Please do not bid unless you are serious about completing your purchase.

We have for sale our 1974 Pontiac Luxury LeMans with approximately 64,000 original miles.

We are the third owners of the car and have owned it for 22 years, during which time it has always been a running, driving, licensed, insured, and garaged classic.

The motor is a 350 with a 4 barrel carburetor and an HEI upgrade, which we had done years ago.

The dual exhaust is still in good condition.

This Pontiac is equipped with power steering, power brakes, and an automatic transmission.

The air conditioning is not working and may need the clutch replaced.

Tires are approximately two (2) years old and the rally II wheels were redone / repainted at that time.

All lights (including high beams), signals, horn, wipers, and radio work.

Heater and defroster work as does the fan.

Clock does not work.

Litter container on factory passenger side kick panel was added.

Includes sport steering wheel (currently in the car) and an after-market tachometer, which works.

Belts and hoses are older but still solid.

Brakes are good.

During our ownership, we have always kept the car inside a garage.

Documentation includes PHS (Pontiac Historic Services) paperwork and owners manuals.

The original exterior paint color is Fire Coral Bronze. There is some paint wear from use and the front facia was repainted 20 years ago. Chrome is in good original condition, but is not perfect.
The interior color is Saddle.
The dash pad has no cracks of which we are aware. The lower door panels have some fading and wear. Seats and material are in good shape. There is wear to the package shelf.
All glass is good.
The door striker on the driver's side has wear as the door rattles when the car is driven over bumps.
The white vinyl top has wear. We purchased replacement material some time ago and it will go to the new owner with the car, but this material is not the "correct" grain.
The car will come with its original fender skirts, but we've not had them on the car for awhile and they are not shown in the listing photos.
We are including some NOS (new old stock) parts such as a pair of fender emblems, one lower trim piece, and one taillight lens.
We have driven the LeMans on numerous long trips including (from Missouri) to Minnesota, West Virginia, and Oklahoma, and we would not hesitate to go on another long trip in the car at any time.
This is a good dependable driver that starts without any trouble.

Please be sure to view all photos carefully as they are part of the description.

We have taken many pictures of our Pontiac but are limitedto the number we can include in the listing. So we do have more -please ask for others.

Wehave a clear title (in our names)and keys.

Mileage indicated in the listing details is approximate.

E-mail requests for additional pictures. (We have lots more photos but are limited to 24 for this listing.)

Forgot about these two items, as we've been driving the car for years without them working and they don't bother us:
Fuel gauge does not read / display fuel level in tank. Fuel sender likely needs replaced.
Connection to the gear shift indicator needle is broken. We have an NOS replacement but never got around to installing it as it wasn't a "necessary" repair for us.

For those of you who wondered - we were the ones to upgrade the LeMans to the 4 bbl carburetor and convert to dual exhaust.
I also wanted to point out that this car is not a true survivor in the strict sense as we did have the front facia repainted several years ago and it does have those few upgrades. However, for the most part, the car is still original.
