Car description

Amazing GTO! Loaded with factory options and it was born with all of them. It has been documented by Pontiac Historical Service. #s match, body off frame restored to factory specs. This GTO has so much to offer, it is not like all the others. A binder of documentation is included. It has photos of the body off frame restoration, stack of receipts, engine specs, history and an independent appraisal for $80,000 5 years ago.
EXTERIOR: I absolutely love the original Linden green color, it's unique and very pleasant to look at. The exterior of this car is restored like new, possibly even better. It has a great stance. The body is fantastic- fit and finish is excellent. It is straight, all the panels fit square and flush. The doors open and close like they're new. The metal flake has been laid out evenly, the clear coat is polished out like glass. It has real pin stripe down each side. Every piece of exterior trim is new or restored like new. Upfront the bumper, headlight bezels, around the grills are pristine. The turn signals and the grills themselves are mint. It even has four of the correct T-3 headlamps. The stainless wheel well moldings, wide rocker trim, trim around the windows is straight and polished. The mirror, handles, emblems are mint. It has a factory original power antenna in back. The rear bumper, tail lights and trim is excellent. All the soft ray glass is real nice and fit right. The windshield is new. The vinyl top is new. The door jambs are beautiful. The bottom of the doors are clean, the paint is shiny and clear coated. It has new weatherstrips and sill plates. This car has it's optional metal door edge guards in pristine condition. The rally ll wheels are restored right down to the reproduction lug nuts and it rides on a set of BF Goodrich radial redline tires.
INTERIOR: Inside the car is absolutely pristine in my opinion. It has 16 factory options! It's truly over the top nice. The seats are completely restored with new cushions, new upholstery new chrome trim, the seat backs are repainted. The center console is restored like new, the light works. The Hurst 4-speed has the optional walnut shifter knob. I'm looking at a dash that's restored pristinely. All the chrome sparkles, rally gauges are mint, the knobs look new. It has 4 optional switches- a rear defoger, power antenna, front to rear speaker and a reverb switch. In the glovebox is new and has a power trunk release button. I'm also looking at a mint condition deluxe steering wheel which is on a tilt column. The door panels and armrests are new. It has power windows and a remote mirror. On the floor it has deluxe seat belts and reproduction floor mats. Overhead it has optional reading lights and vanity mirror. The visors, headliner and mirror are new. It has the correct mesh rear shelf.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This has the original H.O. 400-360 horsepower motor that it was born with. The unit number on the motor matches the # on the PHS documents. The dates and codes match too. It has the factory H.O. exhaust manifolds, correct rechromed valve covers and correct open element rechromed air cleaner. #s match, rebuilt carb. The motor was rebuilt, we have receipt. Every component looks new or restored and proper. All the finishes are neatly painted. It has GM reproduction hoses and clamps. Also correct spring clamp battery cables and a Delco battery topper. Features include power steering and brakes. The booster is cadmium plated. Has optional underhood lamp. New wiring harness.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Neately restored. All metal with aqua and gray spatter paint. No overspray, the taillight housings, wires and latches are clean. It has optional trunk light and trunk release, both work. It has trunk mat and matching tire cover. The spare is a rally ll wheel with a BF Goodrich tire. The jack is complete. Bottom of the lid and jamb are glossy. Has new weatherstrip and decal.
UNDERSIDE: The body was removed and we have a picture of the rolling chassis completely restored. Upfront the steering and suspension is all new. Bottom of the motor is clean, new starter and fuel pump. Correct M-20 Muncie 4-speed was gone through. Driveshaft was straightened and balanced, u-joints replaced. Has correct 3.55 saf-t-track rear end. Swaybar front and back. New fuel system- tank, sending unit and lines. Brakes were completely rebuilt, e-brake assembly is hooked up. Correct new exhaust system with splitter tips. Yes, the 2 different length mufflers is correct. The floors are solid and have factory sound deadener.
