Car description |

Cool look, cool name, and low numbers come together on this low-mileage 1991 Pontiac Firebird Bandit II to deliver one of the most intriguing affordable classics you can get your hands on today.
This car has averaged about 1,400 miles annually, and the condition of the body really demonstrates great care. That makes sense, because these Bandit II Firebirds are a rare treat. This came from the specialty house at Choo Choo Customs - the same people who created the El Camino SS when Chevy wouldn't. They added a well-integrated full body kit, larger exhaust tips, a vanity hood scoop, and the kind of hood bird we haven't seen since the muscle car days. Plus, the pinstripe surrounds all the glass and hugs the parameter also tells people this is a special Firebird. Then again, people were already taking notice thanks to a coordinating gold lattice wheel package that looked just like what came on the expensive GTA Trans Am. The black paint is assumed to be original. It's not perfect, but it retains plenty of gloss to look good in the sunshine. And originality is quite important on a car like this. Choo Choo limited production to only 600 cars per year, and there were only two years when you could get the more angular 3rd gen body style.
Inside is the kind of clean interior you get with a low mileage car. A black exterior with a black interior is always desirable. This coordinates well with the gold dash/center console and special number plaque below the glove box. It identifies as car #166 of 600 planned for 1991 (some suspect this could be even rarer as Choo Choo may never have reached anywhere near full production back in the day.) Plus, more than just custom, this Firebird is loaded. You get power windows, power locks, a tilt steering column, driver airbag, cruise control, and the factory AM/FM/cassette stereo. Best of all, the air conditioning is blowing nice and cold. So even during the summer season you can feel free to take the T-tops out (even the storage bags are still in the trunk) and keep this special Bandit II open to the world.
The engine bay looks just as nicely presented as the rest of the car. Good maintenance of the essentials is combined with carefully preserved components (even the factory decals are still bright!) So it's hard to believe that this is anything but the original setup. And we know you want this for more than just for its preservation. The fuel-injected 305 cubic-inch V8 is strong-running powerhouse that's known for being smooth on the highway and first off the stoplight. Plus, the four-speed automatic transmission makes this collectable the ideal cruiser - especially when paired with the power steering, sway bars front & rear, power brakes w/discs up front, and wide sport tires.
Complete with owner's manual, cool and rare classics that are this well presented are also rarely this affordable. So don't miss your opportunity. Call now!
