Car description

This 1981 Trans Am started life as a 305 V8 / 4 speed (1 of 3,225). It was purchased new on May 1, 1981 from Fred Reali Motors in Kinsman Ohio. I purchased the car in July 2015. Shortly after, I moved overseas and the car was professional stored for 3 years. Early 2019 I started a performance rebuild that finished August 2019. I’ve driven it about 1,000 miles since then. With nearly every major component brand new or rebuilt, it’s very reliable (engine still under warranty) and is a blast to drive. I’m only selling to jump start some other projects.

Overall condition is very good. I’ve taken 86 pictures and 2 videos I can share if interested. There was likely a repaint done previously. The finish shines up great with minimal orange peel and good reflection. There are some minor imperfections such as paint cracking around the front bumpers and a small scratch on the back deck. The weather seals and decals seem newer. The car was undercoated, probably when new, and there is no indication of rust problems. The interior is in excellent shape - all panels intact, new carpet, and the seat upholstery has been well maintained. The trunk looks brand new, with spare tire and T-top bags included. I added a Bluetooth Kenwood amp that plays through aftermarket speakers.

The performance work was professional done by two Houston area shops. I have all the parts and labor receipts except where indicated.
