If you want to own one of the hardest to find collectible F-Body's there are, then this is it! One of the Nine cars we purchased from the Tournier Collection from St. Paul, Minnesota. These are elite cars and some lucky new owner will have an amazing car to call their own.
This was the last year we would see the 455 SD on a factory invoice and that marked the end of the Super Duty era. These rare Super Duty engines were basically a factory racing engine. It was a miracle that Pontiac slipped these past the EPA. Another fact real performance enthusiast knew was that the Formula were lighter than the Trans AM, so they were always just a little faster than a Trans AM in the quarter mile. This made for a lethal combination at the track or on the street.

Ownership History This is a 3 owner car.
First owner was in Iowa and used the car as a daily driver for the first few years. He street and drag raced the car for fun. Later he purchased another daily driver and the SD was used for fun and weekends. Eventually, he lost interest in the car and it sat for an extended period of time.
2nd owner lived in Illinois, purchase the car and go it back on the road. Super Duty's were known for bad valve guide seals (GM put out a bulletin on it) and this car needed them, so he had the work done at a Performance shop in Quad cities. At the same time, he installed a bigger Cam, Mallory Unilite Ignition and had the car Tuned to these upgrades. He enjoyed the car for a few years and decided to sell. That is when Mr. Tournier acquired the car.
3rd owner, Mr. Tournier is a collector and so the car had it's 2nd stretch of long term storage with minimal use. He owned it for 20 years and did not put 500 miles on the car. That is when we purchased the car.
