1967 Pontiac Firebird Beautifully Restored 400 FirebirdThis IS a very nice 1967 Firebird 400 Ram Air 4 speed. This is a high end quality driver with very few imperfections. The paint is nice and is easily an 8/10.
Originally born a 326 HO Manual Regimental Red (converted to a 400 Ram Air 4 Speed) - build sheet included to verify. Rust free documented California car with no filler, bondo or BS. One repaint – all original sheet metal . No rust work or patching was done under this car. Original seam sealer is on the roof rails and tail light panel. Bumpers were re-plated and all trim shines nicely.
Motor – Recently rebuilt 1971 400 block .030 with high performance #16 heads. SUM 2800 Camshaft (mild lift and duration). Functional RAM Air hood set up. Vintage P4B Intake with Edelbrock 600 carb. High flow cast iron exhaust manifolds & HEI distributor. New 2.5†Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system. This car is dead nuts reliable and has been taken on multiple long distance cruises. All the bugs and issues have been worked out; no ticks, knocks, smoke or issues at all with this motor. It runs very well.
Trans - newly rebuilt Muncie M-20, all new set up including flywheel, clutch, bell housing, linkage etc. receipt included. 3.23 Posi traction with the 2 factory Pontiac traction bars on the rear end which indicates this car was a factory manual trans.
15x8 & 15 x 7 Pontiac Rallye II wheels
New and very nice parchment interior, perfect headliner and carpet. Working AM radio with a hidden AUX premium sound system. Power Windows, console clock and rare stainless steel interior trim
