Car description

1959 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE 2DR"NO RESERVE"
Here we have for offer to all the classic car folks a No Reserve auction of a one family owned since 1960 Pontiac Bonneville 2 door custom. I am a personal friend of the owners and will do my best to describe this 2 owner since new vehicle. The owner grew up with this car and was driven by family members in the 60s, 70s and 80s until parked and stored in a dry secure building in Montrose Colorado. About a year ago I personally drove to Colorado and loaded the car in my enclosed trailer and brought it to Montgomery Alabama. Since then the owner cleaned the interior and exterior, had new tires mounted and has gotten the car started. Now lets talk about the overall condition of the vehicle. The motor is a 389ci 300hp that has a new battery and runs great due to the nicely rebuilt carter 4bbl which is amazing considering that the last time it ran was over 10 years ago. The motor has a complete tune up with plugs, wires, points, rotor, cap, coil, ballast resistor and condenser. We used a 5 gallon fuel can to get clean gas to the carb. The Transmission is a 3sp hydro automatic and will go into forward and reverse and move the car but has not been driven past the drive way. All interior accessories seem to work just as they should to include interior lights, blower motor, horn and turn signals. The big Bonneville has factory AC and lots of original shinny trim in great condition. The two tone seats are original with only one small split in the seam of the drivers side of the front bench. The original carpets are a little rough but the headliner although stained has no tears. The family also retained the original owners manual, body manual, protection policy and paint chip sheet. The exterior is in very good condition with the original paint and bright work still on the vehicle. Rust is at a minimum and can be seen around the bottom of both front fenders. The trunk has just surface rust and overall is very solid. The underside of the vehicle has just surface rust and is very very solid. Overall this is a very nice example of a late 50s early 60s 2dr classic vehicle that can be saved and with very little effort driven, restored or turned into a very cool rat rod. Let the pictures tell the rest of the story of this beautiful vehicle. The owner hates to part with the Pontiac and if she had the funds and time to restore the Bonneville she would. The auction will be no reserve and will run for 10 days. I would love to stop the auction for a fair offer so don't hesitate to contact me for that reason. All bidders have to have purchased or sold 10 or more items to bid. If you are a new member to eBay please contact me before you bid or your bid will be canceled. I am posting the maximum of pictures but have many more. Please don't hesitate to ask for more or any question you might about the Pontiac. The winning bidder will need to pay a 10 percent of purchase price deposit within 48hrs. I offer shipping on all my auctions. I can haul the Pontiac to anywhere in the lower 48 for $1.50 per loaded mile on an open trailer or $2.00 per loaded mile in an enclosed trailer. The Pontiac is sold with no warranty written or implied. However if for any reason you feel that I have lied or mislead you in any way I will refund your deposit at delivery or pickup of the vehicle subtracting only the cost of fuel and we can part friends.
