Car description |

Up for sale or trade is my 78 Firebird Formula survivor. This is a beautiful true Formula with it's numbers matching olds's 403 / 350 auto. Mileage is just over 61k. PS, PB, Tilt wheel, power locks / windows, cold a/c, factory radio. This also has the rarely seen C&C tops with covers in very good shape. No scratches and the seals are in good shape (pictured). Thedash is also original with no cracking, no overlay. This bird is in very original condition with no modifications and still has the smog pump. It's no power house but drives very nice and is a fantastic cruiser. Nothing is missing I can think of. The spare tire and jack are still mounted in the trunk. Everything works except the clock.
It spent most of it's life in Arizona and now lives in Florida. There is no rust in the usual spots. The pans, trunk, rear tail panel, quarters and rockers are all clean and pictured. There is no undercoating on the underside hiding anything. All body panels appear to be original and I see no signs of any accident damage. It has had 1 repaint at some point in it's life in it's original code (11) Cameo White. Paint is in good driver condition with some flaws here and there but still shows very well. No rust bubbles at all. Besides the respray it has had new carpet / mats and seat covers. Also recent brake booster / master, calipers and rear wheel cylinders. Door seals and trunk seals have also been replaced.
I guarantee you will be the only one at the show or cruise in with a Formula in this shape. Everyone has a Trans Am but there are not to many of these in this shape around. The ratio of Formula's to T/A's built in 78 is almost 1:4, 24k Formula's / 94k Trans Am's.
The pictures speak for themselves. I've listed as many pictures as allowed. If you need any additional info please feel free to contact me.
Thanks for looking.
