Original Day II Style 67 GTONumbers match 400 HO, 4 speed, Safety Track/ Posi 3:55 10 BoltOriginal Block, Heads, Carburetor, Exhaust Manifolds, transmission, rear end
Original Paint including Factory Pinstripes. Touched up front nose & rear valance. Rechromed GM original rear bumper. Interior is all original except new carpet.
Original Paint is Very Nice Driver Quality. No way I personally would repaint it plus I drive it and park it. Has scuffs, chips touch ups. Super Solid Car!Or easy repaint.Only 13,827 HO’s doesn’t break down 4spd vs Auto but approximately 1/2 stick vs auto.Try to find a numbers matching HO especially in this price range.
I know there are nicer originals out there but I haven’t ran across one personally in 5 years.I’ve shown the only rust on the exterior of the car which is the driver side fender behind the rocker panel.
Choice of nice clean Rally II’s or Kelsey Hays Magnesium wheels manufactured from 68-72.
This car is like a 10 year old unmolested car with GM 1967 Sheetmetal and components. It is very dependable and has not over heated during Texas Summers.I drilled the hood scoop open (like the Dealers did for Ram Air cars) and bought a duplicate GM scope bezel and opened it too. Have original paint blue hood scoop bezel. She loves the cool fresh air through the Ram Air air cleaner. I bought the car from the 2nd owner whom bought it it in 1969. He said it had Magnum 500 aftermarket wheels when he bought it (I’ve still got them). He rebuilt the motor, clutch and front end at 100k. He said the block was all BP specs (BP specs meaning everything was still in GM Factory tolerance) since always changed the oil. He did that back in the late 70’s. It sat from the late 80’s till I bought it about 5 years ago.I just drove it over 300 miles round trip 10/12/19 and she ran like a top again. She will run 80 mph at 3200 rpm and gets great gas mileage on the highway.
Thanks for looking
817-992-eleven hundred text or leave message and I’ll call you right back.
Might take 1/2 trade on some realistically priced. Interested in Corvettes or 68-69 GTO or Lemans preferably super clean body paint needing motor. I’ve got a 455 in the wings
