Car description

Here are two great 1937 Pontiacs for sale together in this auction. Hate to sell them, but wife said I to since I bought a new Drag Pak Challenger!! Both are low mileagecars in great shape and very solid for their age. The Burgundy SlantBack is a setupFBI car that is driven weekly, the other old school Hot Rod car I was going to restore like a Rat Rod and change the original engine out with a mid range miles 1969 Oldsmobile 350 4bbl and an automatic transmission that is included in this sale for the Black car.Burgundy color carwith Black fenders hasthe original drivetrain and complete interior with 48,685 actual miles. It is set up as a FBI Department of Justice car from the 1930s. It has an original police light mounted on the front bumper with four different color lenses and an original Sereno siren. Also there is an old short wave 6 volt equipment radio on the floor with other radio equipment in the trunkanda 9 foot long telescope antenna mounted to the rear bumper that is not connected and does not work. Body is extremely solid with some old skim coat tocover rust pits but car has never rusted through except the battery tray. It's innice condition with one repaint. An improved aluminum radiator and stainless steel gas tank where added and it is allstill 6-volt. Brakes, suspension, wiring, fuel lines, carburetor, and other smalls have been gone throughand checked in the last 4 months.I have the original rims with tires for both cars, but radials with Buick rally wheels are on the burgundy car. Interior driver seat got ripped during repairs but I DO have an original replacement seat back and seat for it that just needs to bolted in. This is a driver quality car that is very unique and gets lots of attention! The Black Hump Back car with approx. 73,000 miles is very solid as well but does have a 3/4 x 4-1/2" rust hole an inch from the bottom of the left front fender and more skim coat that is cracking. The interior is a custom redo that is in great condition but needs a cleaning from sitting NO RIPS. 12 volt update electrical that needs completing. New Dolphin dash gauges and a electric wiper motor and alternator charging system were added, alt belt just broke last week. Front disk brakes with vacuum booster assist were added. This car runs and can drive but engine smokes while runningit does stop smoking sometimes and I was told this could be fromthe original fuel pump sucking oil or it may be the rings, or seals. Gas tank is not connected so I use a gas can to move it around. I bought it to swap all the chrome and rare Banjo Steering wheel to the FBI car since it was all re-chromed, handles, wiper bezels, bumpers, grille, hood moldings, etc. The re-chromed grille was damaged after it was chromed and is missing one slat with slight bendas seen in the pictures, it is the lowest section so repairing it should not be hard. Finding a grille for this one year is next to impossible so this chrome one is worth a lot and I have been offer a lot for it.Having an extra complete car is what I try to do when I get old cars so I am not hunting around for parts all the time and this package deal comes with many boxes of extra parts!!You will not be disappointed in these cars and you could sell one with a little work and gets most of you money back. I just want them sold before the snow fliesso they don't sit in my field all winter long. Thinning the heard of cars and I will really miss these classics. The buy it now will includethe complete collection of 1930s FBI items some can be seen in the photos. The key chain tag is from "New York FBI Special Agent" with special police keys both from the 1930s how cool is that!Any questions please ask and I can provide more pictures but only allowed 24 attached to auction.
