81 Trans Am Turbo NASCAR RECARO Edition T-Top Daytona Pace car

1981 Pontiac Trans Am NASCAR Trans Am. Rare 1 owner car with a lot of documentation. It comes with the original build sheet. 1 of only 2000 ever made. Only 46k miles! The car has had one repaint and was done correctly. All stickers and decals look to be in fantastic shape. All weather stripping has been replaced and is soft. The interior is as close to mint as you will find. I can't find any flaws, rips, or burns anywhere!! It still retains it's original radio which are very hard to find. The clock still works and keeps accurate time. The dash is still soft and is crack free.
It hasbeen off the road since 1998 so some general maintenance was necessary like replacing the fuel tank and fuel lines, new cap, rotor, plugs, battery and wires. Also, the carburetor was rebuilt. The transmission filter and fluid was also changed. The car has been in a garage its entire life, and it shows.
The car runs beautiful and fires right up and shifts smooth. I would replace the tires even though they have a lot of tread they are old. Also, the exhaust is old and has a leak. This is a true time capsule. Still has it's original jack mounted under the package tray area but no spare. This car is a real eye catcher, true 1 owner low mileage car. Looks and runs fantastic.
