Our Quick Condition Guide -(Condition Rating Scale: #1 Perfect, #2 Near Perfect driver, #3 Excellent driver, #4 Nice driver, #5 Needs Work, #6 Parts. Each section is rated based on the type of vehicle it represents being part of.)
Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #3 (Gorgeous Rare Driver)
This is a beautiful 1959 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible in excellent condition inside and out. It is a very clean and mostly untouched driver/survivor that's had some minor restoration work done to it but it is very original for the most part. The car shows 86k miles and we believe them to be original miles as it shows with the condition of the interior. The car retains most of its original and gorgeous Mandalay Red paint, which was the best color to order in 1959. It has a super straight and solid body with excellent fit and finish throughout. The inside of the car believe it or not is an all original Tri-Tone Silver, White and Red interior with its original sparkle carpet which is unbelievable to find. It is nicely equipped with rare factory bucket seats and a white power convertible top. You just do not see these '59 Bonneville Convertibles at all and especially ones that were well cared for and well taken care of as this one was from new. We have owned this car twice now as we recently took it back in trade on a Pontiac Safari Station Wagon from a Pontiac collector. We originally purchased this car about 4 years ago from a new car dealer's private collection who had owned it for 20 years and always had it in great storage. After acquiring the car we sold it to one of our very good customers within a week of purchase who then kept it for 4 years before trading it back to us for the Safari Station Wagon she really wanted. We gladly took the car back as we know the car is a really solid and great running car and we have never seen one in this good of condition without undergoing an extensive restoration. For the car to have survived and been so well preserved for this long with a lot of original paint and all original interior is truly unbelievable and is a great conversation piece to share. If this were a top of the line '59 Cadillac it would be $200k+ so this car is a bargain for the price we are asking for it. You just don't find these at all anymore and it will not last long.

Exterior: *Condition #3
The exterior of this Bonneville looks absolutely stunning, finished in Mandalay Red and White Convertible Top, with a super straight body, amazing chrome and trim and excellent fit and finish throughout. We would rate this as a beautiful Sunday cruiser and it remarkably appears to retain more than half of its original paint. The back half is definitely all original with a few touch ups taking place over the years on the front but overall is in excellent condition and looks superb. The body is super straight and solid with great fit and finish showing it's never been taken apart or been in an accident. To find a 1959 Bonneville with a lot of original paint on it is a truly an unbelievable find especially when it has the amazing finish it does. Some of the chrome has been redone and looks beautiful but quite a bit of the trim appears to be original and is in very nice condition. All of the glass is in excellent condition and is crystal clear, the windshield does have one little "star" chip in it but is hardly noticeable. It has its original wheels with Tri-Power hubcaps wrapped in wide white wall radial tires that look and drive great. This car is a pleasure to drive and an absolute attention grabber and overall is a very very clean and solid car has a beautiful look to it that impresses. It is sure to please and will show amazing on any cruise or car show.
Interior: *Condition #3
The interior of this Bonneville is in really nice condition and is entirely all original. It has its original Tri-Tone Silver, White and Red leather bucket seats, original sparkle carpet and original door panels that all look fantastic. We have never seen a '59 Bonneville with an all original interior like this one in such amazing condition. You cant even buy the sparkle carpet anymore so it is a truly amazing and rare find. The dash pad and gauge cluster is original in the car and look gorgeous. All the chrome and brightwork is in beautiful condition with no pitting anywhere. The steering wheel has a few hairline cracks but it just adds some patina and is not bad at all. The horn ring and horn button is in excellent shape and has great shine. All of the weatherstripping in the car appears to be original and is in very nice condition. Everything works inside the car including the directionals, courtesy lights, horn, power antenna, gauges, power convertible top, AM radio except for the blower motor and clock. It has its original top boot from the factory believe it or not that looks and fits great. The soft top was replaced about 4 years ago so it's basically a new white soft top and compliments the gorgeous paint perfectly. The power top works excellent and fits great and has no issues. Inside the trunk is almost all original,, except for the bottom trunk mat, and is super clean and includes the original spare, jack, and weatherstripping. Overall the interior of this Bonneville looks amazing and is sure to please.
Mechanically: *Condition #3+
Mechanically this Bonneville is in excellent condition and drives like a top. The previous owner never really drove it but after we got it back we did have a full tune-up performed on it, including having the carburetor rebuilt. It retains its original 389ci "Tempest" V8 and runs and sounds amazing. Under the hood is very clean and all correct and original and has been very nicely detailed. It runs and drives excellent, shifts great, stops great, the steering is nice and tight, and goes down the road straight. You do not need to do anything to this car mechanically. Overall this car is in great shape and very clean mechanically and is ready to be enjoyed.
Under Carriage: *Condition #3
The underside of this Bonneville is extremely solid and untouched as it has never been taken apart. It is totally rust-free, and it appears to be all original and stock. The exhaust system appears to be older but sounds great and doesn't leak. Overall it is very solid and dry and exactly the way you would expect to see an original car that hasn't been messed with.
