“I have been told that this Trans Am reminds them of the 1960’s Batmobile!”

I am selling a 1992 Firebird Trans Am that I planned to finish restoring, Raising a family has gotten in the way and decided to post an ad. This car is very rare. There were 555 of these Trans Am convertibles manufactured and only 226 of them were 5 speed manual transmission which this one is equipped with. The 305 Tuned Port Injection V8 engine sounds great & runs and performs well, but the starter is old & the tranny needs the synchronizers replaced soon with rebuild. Both engine & transmission are original have matching numbers. The Trans Am is Black on Black color with gold factory 16x8 rims with good tires. The folding top with glass window is in fair shape without holes. The leather interior is original but has dried out over the past couple of decades. The interior is original and needs replacement of some parts. This car has been branded salvage because of a fender bender accident 12 years ago and has had work done to the area. The car is drivable but a slight grind could be heard between 3rd & 4th gears. The exterior has always been black since new and has been repainted but has some up close noticeable imperfections. This Trans Am is always garaged and has a car cover over it.
