Car description |

Every time I drive this car people ask what kind it is & if I want to sell it!
Selling my 1972 Pontiac LeMans Raider Edition. I'm the 3rd owner and have had it for 13 years. It's all original hence some of its cosmetic issues. The engine runs great, is in solid condition and purrs like a kitten.
Specifics are:
- 2 door coupe- 350 2 bbl- Power Steering, Power Brakes- Bucket seats, rear Bench seat- Black interior with wood paneling on dashboard- Removable steering wheel- Black interior with nearly pristine original outside silver with black & white pin stripping- Locking gas cap
Each side of back near window on t top has a Raiders emblem. I suspect it was made for players and given as perhaps gifts at the time the car was new. DMV records don't go back that far for me to find out.
I purchased the car 13 years ago from a home in the Berkeley Hills and they were the 2nd owners. It's been kept outside and mostly covered. Only item not original is the removable locking steering wheel. The original steering wheel is in the truck.
Items that need some TLC are the back bumpers need a rechroming, the t top has some cancer at the foot of the rear window under the vinyl, the headliner is ripped, and the top of the dashboard is split in places. Passenger bucket seat is ripped. The odometer and the speedometer don't function, but the AM-FM radio does!
I'd like it to go to a good home, as we've really enjoyed our time with this car.
I am not an expert. Feel free to ask with questions. $1000 deposit due at close of auction. Two covers come with car also, 1 felt lined.
