So, you are saying to yourself, WHY IS THIS GUY SELLING THIS FANTASTIC GTO!! The answer to your question is I found a 1970 GTO JUDGE and thus something has got to go.
My old friend Jim used to say to me. "Cheap Hamburger Ain't Good and Good Hamburger Ain't Cheap."
If you are looking for a beautiful show quality GTO that you can enjoy and be very proud of, this is your car.
Questions:
If after perusing my 24 Ebay pictures, and my additional 152 pictures of my GTO, plus my very detailed description, you still have questions, please feel free to call me at 412-855-9666 between 10 AM and 10 PM EST. There is no such thing as a dumb question. I have nothing to hide but do not know what is important to you. I want you to have a warm tummy feeling before buying my GTO. I also would suggest that you come to Pittsburgh, and see the car in person or send a car inspector to check it out.
GTOs continue to be Blue Chip Investment with many collectors considering the 1967 model year a high mark. This car is a fantastic example. It is a good honest car representing an era where the fun factor was very high and cars were exciting to drive. It is definitely a muscle car with lots of power and incredible amounts of torque.
NADACAR PRICE GUIDE:
Check National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) web site for the value of this beauty and you will find the following:
Original MSRP Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price" > Original MSRP | Low Retail Value This vehicle would be in mechanically functional condition, needing only minor reconditioning. The exterior paint, trim and interior would show normal wear, needing only minor reconditioning. May also be a deteriorated restoration or a very poor amateur restoration. Most usable 'as-is'. This column does not represent a 'parts car' or a non-running vehicle. Note: Some of the vehicles in this publication could be considered 'Daily Drivers' and are not valued as a classic vehicle. When determining a value for a daily driver, it is recommended that the subscriber use the low retail value. " > Low Retail | Average Retail Value This vehicle would be in good condition overall. It could be an older restoration or a well-maintained original vehicle. Completely operable. The exterior paint, trim and mechanics are presentable and serviceable inside and out. A "20-footerâ€." >Average Retail | High Retail Value This vehicle would be in excellent condition overall. It could be a completely restored or an extremely well-maintained original vehicle showing very minimal wear. The exterior paint, trim and mechanics are not in need of reconditioning. The interior would be in excellent condition. Some vehicles may be considered "matching numbers" vehicles. Note: This column does not represent a "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle*. * A "100 Point" or "# 1" vehicle is not driven. It would generally be in a museum or transported in an enclosed trailer to concours judging and car shows. This type of car would be stored in a climate regulated facility." > High Retail |

Rally Wheels | 5% | 5% | 5% | |
Total Price | $2,935 | $18,720 | $72,600 | $107,040 |
As you can see, I am selling my 1967 GTO at a fraction of the NADA AVERAGE RETAIL PRICE.
As a lot of you know that when you restore a classic car you have more money into it than you can sell it for. This is the case of myself and the GTO. More money spent on this car then I am asking.

As mentioned, you are looking at a very rare 51-year-old beautiful GTO. This car has original floor and trunk panels, plus original fenders, doors, quarter panels, trunk lid, roof, hood, and rocker panels. This is an uncut body that has structural integrity.
ENGINE:
Look at the27 pictures of the highly detailed 400 cubic inch engine. Close to $12,000 was spent on the engine, and transmission. The engine was totally rebuilt close to 500 miles ago.The enginerebuiltincluded(pistons, cam, rockers, rods, oil pump, plugs, fan and water pump).Modifications included: bore and hone 0.60, resize rods, valve job with guide liners, grind crankshaft and mag. Melling oil pump, AC Delco Voltage Regulator, Griffin 4 core Radiator, HEI Distributor, PermaCool accessory electric fan with control switch, OEM style hose clamps. An electric fuel pump was added so now has 2 fuel pumps - original fuel pump and electric fuel pump Kept the headers that were on the car, Edelbrock Intake and Demon Carburetion. Repainted overflow radiator bottle (Summit)
THIS BEAST WILL MOVE
The Verdict is a really nice combination for overall performance and power.
Behind this motor and transferring the power to the rear wheels is a M-20fully synchronized 4-speed transmission. The 4-speed shifts well and was completely gone through to include the clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, and linkage, as was the emergency brake. If you look at the pictures of the back of the car you will see the Hurst emblem showing that it has a Hurst 4-speed shifter.
The power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 3:55 (39:11) YH Safe-T-Track Rear End.
EXTERIOR:
It is amazing what a $10,000 PPG Regimental Red Jewel paint job will do to a GTO. Review the 41 pictures of the exterior of this beautiful Goat and you will see no corners were cut in restoring this GTO. This laser straight body was painted with "Top of The Line" PPG Deltron 2000. The Tri-Coat Red Jewel PPG Deltron 2000 paint alone cost $2230 (Base=$1220/gallon, Mid-Coat=$490/gallon and Clear Coat=$520/gallon) The color we choose was Regimental Red Jewel, which looks a lot better than the day that the car was born, and it attracts a lot of attention. As mentioned above, this car has all the original body parts and only has little finishing putty in it. Most of the chrome is original to the car. The original Rally II wheels were repainted and new center caps and trim rings installed. The vinyl roof is original to the car.
To complete and enhance the GTO's looks, you have the GR-RRR! Front License Plate, the GOAT in the rear seat, and the HURST EQUIPPED trunk emblem.
INTERIOR:
Look at the 30pictures of this beautiful Red Bucket Seat Interior. Notice the center console with the Hurst Shifter and wood shifter knob. To enhance the look of the interior, I bought a brand-new Wood Steering Wheel, which cost $450. To monitor the engine, you have a complete set of gauges, to include speedometer, odometer, Summit tachometer, Sun Pro temperature, battery and oil pressure gauges. As you can see the Sun Pro gauges are mounted under the dash in the center. The car came with idiot lights which are still connected. For your listening pleasure, we have an aftermarket Pontiac AM/FM Stereo Radio. I don't play it much because the "Rumble of the Exhaust" is Music to my Ears. In the glove box is the "ORIGINAL" Owner's Manual. Look at the beautiful red seat covers, red headliner and red carpeting which are22 brand new. To protect the new carpet, I have a set of GTO floor mats.
TRUNK:
Look at the 19 pictures of the trunk and you will see it has a factory mat and the ORIGINAL 1967 SPARE TIRE. The spare tire which has never been on the GTO is a US Royal Safety 800 tubeless 775 X 14, 4 ply tire. Can you imagine how we drove, burned out, and drag raced on those kinds of tires in the 60's. The spare tire is mounted on an Original Rally wheel which has never been on the car. The jack assembly is original and painted the correct Pontiac Blue.Notice the jacking instructions on the trunk lid and the fantastic paint job on the trunk lid. The pictures also show a fire extinguisher for your safety. Hopefully you will never have to use it. I am also including the GMC storage unit, which is great for carrying anything from paper towels, wax or anything else. Looking at the pictures you will see I am including touch up paint, engine paint, spare gaskets, the original outside mirrors that I replaced, It is a great place to store a first aid kit.
PONTIAC HISTORIC SERVICES (PHS) DOCUMENTATION:
The three pictures show the documentation received from Pontiac Historic Services that confirm that this car is a TRUE GTO. Besides the PHS documentation shown in the pictures, the package also includes GTO options, and car billing history,
