Up for sale is one of the nicest 1984 Pontiac TransAm'syou will find. The Trans Am only has 43k miles, runs and drives like a new car. This TA was stored in a climate controlled airplane hanger for many years. The condition is outstanding. This Trans Am has the suspension andperformance,Ws6package. Four wheel disc brakes. Also has the very sought after L69 5.0 HO, with MM5, 5 speed manual transmission. With that is has a GT4 3:73 rear gear ratio which makes this Trans Am very fun to drive. It also has the W62 Aero package.
The interior is in very nice shape. No cracks or tears. Everything works as it should. Lights, gauges, blinkers, brake lights works. Horn works. Headlights work great. The Trans Am is turn the key and go ready.
The original paint which is not common at all. L59 U59. Pictures do not do it justice. The paint is in great condition. No rust at. Still has factory muffler. Underneath the Trans Am is as clean as the top.
The Trans Am is very fun to drive. The 5.0 HO will surprise you and the 5speed matched with the 3:73 makes it a cruisers dream.
I'm the third owner. 1st owner drove to around 32k miles. Then stored for 15 plus years. Previous owner had the TA for around 6 years and put the other 11k miles on the TA. Previous owner did install a fi-tech fuel injection which works and performs great. I do have the original carburetor. He also installed stainless headers and I do have the original exhaust manifolds. The Trans Am is very responsive. Starts up like a breeze and has great throttle response.
