Are you looking for a project car that will only go up in value? Selling my 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible. I had major plans of restoring this beauty to look like a trans am convertible but as we all know, things change.Nice running Pontiac 350 motor with automatic transmission. Engine starts right up Every time. Radiator is brand new and oversized to match the 455 I was going to put in (More on that in a moment). New gas tank and electric fuel pump. Newer battery. Power steering works. The bad; the car needs a complete renovation, however, I am including practically the whole front end of the car including; New trans am hood, New fenders and trans am scoops, New complete windshield pillar and cowls. New Lower valance. New windshield. New moldings. Rubber headlight fillers... You get the idea, you have practically everything to start up on this restoration. It all comes with this car. I have over $4,000 just in these parts alone. The rear trunk of the car seems to be in good condition but the rear fenders will need work. Doors will need panels as well. The car now has New 3" lowered leaf springs installed in the back so this is the stance you will have. New shocks installed in rear as well. I have not touched the front end yet. The car is driveable In its current condition. This is optional. I have a bored out very stout 455 4 bolt main short block with forged piston, new cam and timing chain that is ready to go into this car. All you need are new heads and swap out the intake and some of the parts from the 350 and you will have a strong 455 in the car. The intake on the 350 is aftermarket and I believe the carb is a 750 cfm already. Headers should work as well. I purchased this engine in its current condition for $2,500 and will only sell it if someone buys this car. Again, It does not come with the sale of the car, it is an additional $2,500. No negotiating on this as I drove 300 miles to pick it up, it was that important to me at the time. Please call if you have any questions, 407-729-9992
