Car description

Cruisin Classics would like to introduce a beautiful 1966 Pontiac GTO. This gorgeous classic has Pontiac Historical Society (PHS) documentation not only for authenticity but for bragging rights as well. That documentation will follow the car. The paint looks great in its slick looking, trim code correct Montero Red. The rest of the outside looks just as fresh. The stance is a compliment to the 15-inch Diamondback Tires paired with American Racing Aluminum Wheels. Also adding intrigue and value to... this generation of GTO are the stacked headlights, working cowl induction hood and a 389 tri-power beast. The mileage stated is not actual. The engine is the heartbeat and it is one beautiful running heart. The engine compartment is very clean and well managed. The 389 ci engine (casting# 9778789, build date 3/24/66) is running like it should. It has a factory GM Hi-rise with three deuces on top of it. Covering the carburetors are 3 x chrome breather covers and foam pad for the cowl induction hood. The heavenly sound comes from the long tube headers followed up buy 2-1/2 inch crossed pipes that flow through dual Magnaflow Mufflers. Components under the hood that matter include a Wilwood master cylinder (front disc and drums rear), Power steering pump, stock radiator, electronic ignition is supplied by MSD and red plug wires with heat shrouds. Paired with all of the power under the hood is a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission (casting# 3925660). The operation is flawless in movement and easily maneuvered with a Hurst shifter inside this classic. It all come together at the 10-bolt rear end. The underneath of the car is about as clean as it gets. The floor pans are painted red so the cleanliness is very noticeable. You will find the shocks, springs, rear sway bar, newer fuel tank, drive shaft and everything else underneath in superb condition. Go over the pictures in detail so you can make your own determination. Inside is a stunning white bucket seat interior. The contrast of the buckets with the like new black carpet is amazing. Even the back of the seats is in beautiful condition. There is plenty of room in the back for family or guests that want to ride along. The wood-grain dash, wood-grain steering wheel and red glove-box look awesome and provides a great contrast to the black and white. In summary, this is one exceptional car. It has been meticulously built and maintained. You can tell by the undercarriage that every surface area has been thought of during the build and it is also evident that the same mindset continued throughout the finished product. You will not be disappointed in this GTO. It is ready to go TODAY!If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff.
