1965 GTO Convertible PHS documented - Factory TRI-POWER 4 speed with original numbers matching drivetrain.

High quality total frame up restoration.

GTO is a time capsule in showroom condition and is excellent inside and out.

Data plate vehicle build date 06B which is 2nd week of June 1965. Car sold new out of HEDGES PONTIAC, INC. - Indianapolis, IN June in 1965. Vehicle has spent most of its life in South - NC and in SC.

Original - Born with 389cu. in engine - WS code and Casting code 9778789, date code F55 June 5th 1965.

Runs excellent ! Over 60 psi oil pressure at operating temp. Have short video of car running.

3 deuce carbs are the correct 7025178 ( dated F for June 1965) and 7025179 back carb and center carb 5175 ( back and center carbs are E dated for May 1965). Carbs are leak free and dialed in to run TRI-POWER as it was intended.

TRI-POWER intake manifold correct 9778818 date and matching date code F 7 5 June 7th, 1965.

Matching 389 TRI-POWERheads cast 77 and exhaust manifolds cast 9779032.

Correct OEM Water pump cast # 9772716 and timing cover 9773371.

Correct OEM plug wires, fuel hoses and water hose clamps, factory style 65 GM tar top battery (maintenance free), pinch cables, electrical devices, alternator, power steering belts, Harrison Radiator, AC Delco Radiator Cap, Oil FillerCap, etc.

The black exterior with panels, doors and fenders are perfectly straight and gaps are excellent.

Starlight Black Paint is brilliant and shiny without a noticeable blemish. Ivory stripe is in it's proper place. All steel (no bondo) and both side lines are straight.

On top of being a highly desirable 1965 TRI-POWER4 speed convertible, the factory codes A2 exterior code is the starlight black and black top.

The factory specified 218-B is the Parchment and Black interior. Interior is mint condition and as stated in full working condition.

Factory M-20 Muncie 4 speed Casting Number 3851325 and date code June 4th 1965.

POSI-TRAC10 bolt rear ratio correctly with 3.55 as specified.

All Original chrome, trim and glassare excellent for the vintage

Everything matches the build sheet and window sticker for the factory options.

Everything (all lights, power top, radio, heater, wiper, horn, lighter, gauges etc.) are in functional working order.

Correct style T-3 headlights.

Entire Suspension refurbished and brakes rebuilt to factory specification . New spiral wound shocks installed front and back.

Redline bias ply tires ride on 14" Rally I Wheels .

Embroidered 65 GTO CONV insignia on California Dust Top Cover. Cover used most of while stored in attached garage. Cover included in sale.
