Car description |
---|
I am selling my 1969 SJ 428 "NUMBERS MATCHING, Protect-O-Plate"Grand Prix. The car originated from Oklahoma and spent most of it life in west Texas. It has new tires and exhaust, and runs down the road very well. I am selling due to recently selling my house, and I have too many cars sitting in storage. I have not applied for the PHS documentation, but I do know that this is a true 428 car, and it came with the level ride system. The air lines are still under the car, but no sign of the compressor pump. The hot sun has baked the paint, and someone has at one time redone the interior. I have found two quarter size rust spots, one by the back glass, and the other, left rear lower quarter panel. The frame and floor pans are extremely clean. The previous owner replaced the hood prior to shipping it to me, as he had already purchased the hood from Frank's Pontiac Parts in Arizona. Apparently, it had rusted on top near the hinges, as a garage leaked directly onto the hood.
You can drive this while restoring, or take it down, and do it right. Either way, my asking price leaves plenty of meat on the bone for someone to restore and still have a good investment.
I reserve the right to end the auction early, as I have it listed locally, and I will reject any bidder who bids with a less than 10 score. You MUST contact me prior to bidding.
Any comments and questions are welcome.
Happy Bidding!!!
