This Pontiac is recently out of a 12 year storage and has been gone through and ready to be enjoyed once again! You can fly in and drive this one home in comfort.
The Firebird is an older restoration that has held up very well. It has beenrestomoded and updated withVintage AC, aluminum radiator to run cool, new optima battery, fresh fluids plus more. The 455 is an upgrade to the car, as they did not make them in the Firebird of this year. The 4 speed transmission shifts great and clutch feels very good. The Hurst emblems are atribute. It is upgraded with Autometergauges that show 9600+ miles since the restoration. Theupholstery is nice and has held up nice as well. All the glass is in great condition and windowsroll up and down great. The brakes are good and stop as they should. It haspowerfront disc brakes and power steering. There isa nice sound to the motor but is not over done with any large cams. The rear end is a nice highway gear so you can travel comfortably down the highway without the engine turninghuge RPM's.
The paint is still very nice looking on the car for being an olderrestoration. The underside is solid and the floors were replaced when it was restored in the past. The frame rails and frame horns look very good with no rust or accidents. The only spot worth noting on the car in on the passenger side inner rear quarter by the tailpipethere is a small amount of rust through butcannot be seen unless it is up on a lift and is no larger than 3x3 area. VERY easy fix! There are someimperfections in the paint but it has been painted over 12 years and is holding up well. A few small blisters in the paint, not holes, that again are not a huge problem and mostdon't notice them but wanted to be honest and point out any flaws we have noted.
As mentioned above, you can fly in and drive this one home. It is an older restoration and is an above average driver that pleases anyone that sees it! It s a very popular car in our shop!
