1972 Pontiac Lemans GTO Resto Mod LS w4L60 Rotisserie Restoration

1972 Pontiac Lemans GTO Restomod Laser Straight Rotisserie frame off completed June 2013. Started with an amazing car that was all original and never painted. It had been stored inside for the last 20+ years. This car has never seen any damage and was virtually rust free. The car was removed from the frame and placed on a rotisserie where it was stripped inside and out to bare metal. I have pictures of the restoration. The floor underneath was professionally sprayed with a maintenance black liner. Frame. suspension. driveline. radiator support. inner fenders. and misc were powder coated for a maintenance free clean look. Underneath is very clean and will last a life time. and will never have to worry about rust again. The rest of the car was painted with DuPont base and clear coat. and then sanded and buff to mirror finish. When you look into the paint its like looking at a mirror. There is no orange peel on this one. You can take an average (even worse) car and take pictures. they will look good when looking at them on the computer. but that is not the case here. When you see this car in real life you will see that the car looks better than pictures. Pictures were taken with a phone so not the best. I could go on and on. but to some it up the fit and finish is amazing. The interior on this car is new from the firewall. package tray. headliner and the carpet. The interior is from Legendary Auto Interiors. New dash pad from Just Dashes. Morris Concepts 3 point retractable GM seat belts front and rear seats. All interior panels have Dynamat installed. Heat and air by Vintage. A 2009 5. 3 engine and 4L60 with 12. 00 documented miles when I purchased them. Engine was detailed and painted to match the Pontiac blue. Engine harness was built by Street and Performance and was tuned by legendary Tony Duncan. Comp Cam. corvette intake. Holly oil pan. TPC torque converter. Griffin aluminum radiator with duel fans (controlled by computer). K&N filter. were all installed. Get in and go anytime. Its just like having a new car. You never have to worry if it is going to start. if it is going to get hot. nbsp;or have any fears that it will break down on the trip. This car is ready for a long trip to a destination as far as you want to go. You can let it idle all day with the ac blowing when its 110 degrees outside and it will not get hot. No worries here. Best part is night driving and seeing the hood tach light up( and yes it works). Below is a list of some of the parts that went in to this restoration.
