I am selling my original 1970 Trans Am. Its time to move on to another project. This car is numbers matching and comes with the original 1970 pontiac 400 engine and muncie transmission that are 100% working. STICKERS ARE VINYL AND CAN BE EASILY REMOVED. This competed in the Optima Batteries search for the Ultimate Street Car for 2 seasons in this car. This is the best 1970 Trans Am you will ever see. Period.
The car currently has a period correct 1970 Pontiac 400 installed (bored .030 over to 406). This is a race motor that runs on 93 octane and has all forged internals and forged Ohio crankshaft, scorpion aluminum rockers with stud girdles, Edelbrock Torker II intake and 1 3/4 inch ceramic coated hooker competition headers. 500 horsepower 475 lbs torque. Dyno sheet included.
The car has a modifed TKO 600 5-speed transmission with a .80 race gear overdrive and REM coated and hardened gears.
The rear end is and Easton 3.73 posi with hardened gears and hardened moser axles.
The car is 100% street legal and drives amazing. Radio, Defrost, lights and wipers work.
