It started out as a rust free car from Texas, and during the frame off restoration, hundreds of hours went into attention to detail, for example about 400 hours of work in the quarters alone. The panels and gaps are laser straight and the PPG paint is smooth as glass. Under the hood sits a L-74 Pontiac California Ram Air III 400ci V8, WS block which the previous owner states was topped off with a set of Ram III heads from butler performance with everything inside the engine upgraded with a .030 overbore, and all the Hi Po parts that make this Ram Air III even better than it was from Pontiac. The engine is attached to a Muncie 4-Speed Manual with Hays clutch and Pontiac 10 Bolt Rear End with 3.55 Safe-T-Track Posi.
