You will see by the PHS report, that this is a true GTO. It has had some changes, but the changes were to improve the car.

The car was an automatic from the factory with a 389 ci 4 bbl carb. The Tri-Power was added.

It is a true Mayfair Maize car with black top and interior.

This is a beautiful car, restored a few year ago and was a ground up restoration. We don't know for sure, but we think the odometer shows the mileage since restoration.

The paint is in excellent condition.

The interior as well, is in very good condition. The front dash and gauges look to be original.

Original VIN tag is in place.

The gauges are all working.

There are no cracks in the dash.

The original AM radio works just fine.

The convertible top is power, even though the PHS report shows it to be manual. This again is an upgrade on the car.

All of the chrome and stainless show extremelywell.

The trunk is clean and contains the jack and spare.

The engine compartment is restored and shows well.

The trim tag, as well as the PHS report, does show that we have a true Mayfair Maize with black interior car.

Decoding thefront block number and the casting numbe, this engine is a true 389/335hp engine from a 1965 GTO, manual transmission, according to a Pontiac Power.Net

The PHS report is saying that this particular GTO came from the factory with a 389 4bbl HC V-8. Therefore, we are assuming it is not the original block.

The dual exhausts with split tips are done as original.

We were told that the car has a positrac rear, but have not verified that.

You can see that the restoration was well done. It is a very nice car, top to bottom.

The car has 14" wheels with red line tires as when new.

Enjoy some detailed photos and a few more shots of this great GTO.
