Car description

CLASSIC 1970 Pontiac Le Mans Sport CONVERTIBLE
2 Owner California Car!!!
Unmolested Survivor!!!
This amazing car was purchased from the original owner, a physician in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles, who bought it new in November, 1969. This was his weekend "fun" car for escapes to Palm Springsand Santa Barbara. He kept it for 40 years.
My friend purchased it in 2010. He restored the interior, carpeting, door panels, seats and replaced the convertible top. Also upgraded 15" Rally tires. Numerous mechanical updates and maintenance including:
  • Front end rebuild
  • Power steering and hoses
  • Ignition coil points
  • Ball joints

In the 8 years that he has owned it, he's put less than 3,000 miles on the car... just occasional Sunday drives and a car show or two. He is getting ready to downsize and won't have space to store this in his garage, so he's decided that it is time to sell it and have someone else appreciate this amazing car.

Features:
350 V8Automatic TransmissionPower convertible topAM/FM Stereo (not working)Factory Air ConditioningGTO Bucket seats

The car is on GOOD condition overall. All systems function properly. Was recently tuned up and runs well. The body is clean and straight. This has always been a California car and garaged. There are two areas where the paint needs attention on the rear flanks near the trunk. There are a few minor paint defects/minor scratches commensurate with a nearly 40 year old car. It is still the original factory paint.
We have all receipts for the restoration and maintenance work that was done since my friend purchased. We will answer any questions that you may have to the best of our ability.

Recommended repairs from the recent tune-up:
Valve cover gaskets leakNeeds new oil pressure switchSpeedometer cable leak at transmission side

This awesome survivor needs a good home!!!
