HERE IS A VERY NICE DRIVER QUALITY GRAND PRIX, THIS CAR IS LOADED WITH RARE OPTIONS! POWER SEAT, RECLINING PASSENGER SEAT, PW,PL,AC (needs charged),CRUISE,TILT, RALLY GAUGES WITH TACH,ELECTRIC TRUNK UNLOCK, CORNERING LAMPS. POSI REAR.
I originally bought this car in 2006 from a guy that worked at gm dealership and he had owned it since new. The car was in good condition overall but needed new paint (originally white). The car was not rusty and from what I can tell never really was. The car is now white with fire red mist pearl. I just had it painted this summer. To make the hood scoops a NACA hood from a 1974 grand am donor car. NoCoast Customs llc in lincoln Nebraska fabricated the scoops into the Grand Prix hood for me. The donor 1974 grand am also had the factory muncie 4 speed Hurst shifter, console, clutch pedals linkages etc..all to easily make a factory looking 74 GP Four speed. The 4 speed was freshly rebuilt with high quality parts even though it was still in working condition. The Paint looks great and so does the new vinyl top. The car gets alot of looks and compliments. You can get in it and drive anywhere no worries. Fly in and drive it home. The interior in my opinion is a 8/10 as it has one small crack in dash and the plastic roof rail moldings have a crack. ( I Have good drivers side one included). Passenger seat still needs recovered ( Have new material pui) Just haven't got to it yet. All the gauges dash lights work as they should. Overall this is one nice grand prix that only needs a few cosmetic things finished up. The car sounds great runs strong and is really fun to drive. The car has 1975 grilles installed and the 1975 hood ornament now. I have the 74 grilles and molding without ornament). I have a list of some things the car needs that I haven't fixed or replaced yet.
1. Hood molding (has 1 broken stud/mount at front)2. Quarter glass trim moldings3. Carpet trunk4. Front Brake rotors, Brakes work fine they just could use some new rotors/pads at some point. Rears are new.
