Car description

I have keep some projects around and running out of space so I am listing a few of them to see what happens. This is the Rare 1976 Special Edition Limitied Edition Y82 Hurst T Top Bandit Trans Am. This is a numbers matching 400 engine with 50k miles on the odometer. The car came from the south so the car has minimal rust and would be a great car to restore. There has been some filler work done on the passenger quarter. I can send some walk around videos of the car. There is some rust on the lower drivers quarter and a dent in that fender. The floors, doors, frame drivers quarter, rockers, door bottoms etc all seem to be very nice. It is all original metal to my knowledge as well. The car does need to be restored and will run but not for very long. The brakes are weak as well. The interior seats are very presentable but they are deluxe interior and the door dash have some cracks and the headliner is gone. Carpet is not bad for original. There are some missing parts like headlight switch but I have a lot of the missing window trim and other parts that go with the car. The factory honeycomb rims are original to the car as far as I know. The car is very straight and the doors etc line up well. Has all the correct Gold components like dash and steering wheel, headlight bezels etc. I have the PHS proving it is a real Y82 car that goes with the car as well. Tires hold air but would need replaced as you would restore the car but the rims seem to be in good shape few small pin holes in the trunk but nothing I would replace. Overall a very rare car with lots of upside potential these rare special editions can only go up in value. I believe they only made 433 of these cars and how many of them still maintain there original engine with AC components still on them. I believe everything on the engine is original and nothing has been removed from the car. I can see that the VIN on the block matches the car so feel comfortable you are bidding on a real numbers matching 400 Y82 with the PHS documentation. I will also be listing a real Y84 1979 Bandit car as well. These cars are great investments even if you let them sit. I unfortunately have run out of space for some of my awesome project cars. I do have other Trans Ams in my collection that I might sell 1970 Numbers matched Rotisserie restored Trans Am, 2 1973 Trans am and I do have the super rare 1976 SE Y82 455 numbers match 455 4 speed T top car but that is a high dollar car as are the 70's and 73's. I love Trans Ams so they are fun to collect but I have run out of space. Feel free to come and inspect the car this car would need to be trailered at this point even though it does start and run for a short period of time maybe just bad gas. Starting the listing well below where I think it should sell for to see what happens. Happy Bidding on this great rare collectible muscle car. Call if you are a serious buyer 260-582-9296.
