RARE 40 YR OLD BARN FIND! 1964 389 TRI-POWER 4 SPEED GTO WITH PHS! RUST FREE!

RARE & SOLID 1964 PONTIAC GTO! A TRUE 389 TRI-POWER FOUR SPEED CAR THAT HAS BEEN LOCKED AWAY IN CAPTIVITY FOR THE BETTER PART OF FORTY YEARS! A TRUE BARN FIND! COMES WITH PHS DOCUMENTATION! ORIGINAL NOCTURNE BLUE WITH BLACK INTERIOR! Approximately forty years ago. as the gas crisis of 73 hit. a GM Engineer with a whole lot of foresight and ambition. began collecting cars and storing them all over the Country. Tucked away in the backwoods of Missouri on some old farm land. we came across a barn. Within this barn. we found three GTO's (1964. 1966. & 1968) which have sat. untouched. for the better part of four decades. Here is that barn as well as the cars: Based on the PHS documentation. we know that this was an original 389 Tri-Power four speed car that was fairly loaded with options. While that definitely puts this GTO in a class of its own. it is but only one remarkable aspect of this car. The fact that this car has been so well preserved in a dry barn is almost as appealing as its options. This car is extremely solid. It still retains all of its original sheet metal and will not need any major sheet metal replacement. The trunk. inner wheel housing. trunk drops. frame rails. both front and rear floors. rockers. doors. fenders. hood. roof. rear sail panel. tail panel. firewall. cowl. everything is completely solid and rust free. The sections just above the rear wheel housing on the quarters as well as the bottom sections have had some light work done to them but overall. they too are solid. I would not go to the extent of replacing them. The GTO still retains the majority of its trim. All of the glass through out the GTO is still in good shape with the exception of the windshield. It is cracked. The interior within this GTO is complete. The GTO still retains its four speed pedals. dash. instrument panel. all of which has never been tampered with. We unfortunately do not have a motor nor transmission for the GTO. We do have the original drive shaft but beyond that. she will need a drive train. I know from my personal experience. all of these old muscle cars need the typical sheet metal work/replacement. Because of how solid this car is. whoever ends up owning it is going to be at a huge advantage just because of how much they will save in having a straight and rust free body. I will be evaluating all reasonable offers and I will in fact sell the GTO early as I do have it for sale "locally". My goal here is to sell the GTO.
