1977 Pontiac Trans Am!
I'm listing this car for a friend of mine, so I will try to answer any and all questions as best I can, or get you in-touch with the owner so you can bid with complete confidence.
This car is for sale only... SORRY, NO TRADES.
Rare PHS documented 1977 Pontiac Trans Am non-T-top, 400c.i., 4-speed with positraction rear axle.
Lets start here... this car is a rare documented original 400c.i, 4 speed Trans Am. The original engine has been changed to a 455c.i. 4 barrel at some time. The original 400 engine is NOT available, It also is the rare red with white interior combination, and non-T-top.
The car still retains a 4 speed muncie transmission, the car also has been restored a few years ago, with a re-paint of it's original red color. The interior has been replaced with new original style seat covers, headliner & carpet. This Trans Am does have the higher end "Hooker Headers" and show tube side pipes. This car is very solid and shows no signs of rust, or ever being a rust bucket... the trunk and cowl are super nice as are the rockers, quarters and fenders. A does have a very, very small spot on one of the floor pans but nothing major about the size of a quarter if that big. The car has all NEW decals, newer tires, frame connectors and traction bars.
This Trans Am is a super tight, strong running car, it shifts, steers and stops as it should. It's super fun car... not a whole lot of money and it will defiantly draw attention at any car show or cruise you attend.
As I said the car is an older restoration with that being said... the car does have a "FEW" little things, there is a small spider web paint cracking on the rear rubber bumper, a very small paint chip on the passenger fender, there is a small blem at the top of the drivers side sail panel, the stitching on the drivers seat cushion has started to let lose a little, and temperature gauge isn't working, all the other gauges seem to be fine.
The car is an older restoration and it is still VERY NICE... it's not perfect, but I would say it is above average!!!
PLEASE CALL ME WITH ANY OR ALL QUESTIONS 573 406 7573
It truly is a great car. It attracts more attention than you can imagine where ever you take it. When you park it someplace you just stand back and watch the crowd gather.
This car is for sale locally so I do reserve the right to end this auction early. The reserve is VERY reasonable for the quality of the car... It's hard to find one that hasn't been cut up or beat to death.
Buyer is responsible for any or all shipping charges or fees. The Buyer also makes ALL shipping arrangements. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours of auction close. Balance is due before or at time of pick up before the car leaves my site. Please do not bid if you are not prepared to buy!
All sales are final... No warranties. The car is located in Quincy, Illinois, about 130 miles north of St. Louis, MO. I will work with any buyer as much as possible to make the pick up of this car as easy as possible.
The car does have a clean Illinois title and is ready to go.
