Car description |
---|
Up for sale is a 1978 Pontiac Trans Am SE. The car has been researched through PHS, and all documents will be provided in the sale.
This is a well equipped car, and I have verified the block is numbers match (I have included a picture of the VIN stamping on the block, and the dash plate). More pictures are available upon request.
This is a black and gold Y82, Trans Am Special Edition, T-top car. Other options are: W72 6.6 V8. Automatic transmission. Saf-t-track rear differential. C60 air conditioning. K30 cruise control. AU3 power locks. A31 power windows. The list goes on...
This car is in need of a FULL restoration. It is not roadworthy. Please don't make plans to fly out here and drive it home (yes, someone during my last listing actually wanted to do that after looking at the pictures. I'm not sure why someone would see the pictures and think driving it was a good idea. I can't even imagine why someone would want to be seen going down the road in the car as it sits now, nor do I want to see what their daily driver looks like.)It does have corrosion in the rear quarter panels, surface rust all over the body, and floor pans. Its not a beauty queen right now, but it is a great restoration candidate and a solid starting point.
There really isn't much more to say. The pictures speak for themselves. If you want to see more pictures, please contact me and I will send them as soon as possible. If there is something specific you want to see, let me know and I will do what I can.
This car is being sold as is, where is with no warranty or promises implied.
I don't want to trade for anything at this time.
PLEASE ask questions before you bid. If you would like to have the car inspected, I will be happy to accommodate as best as I can with my work schedule.
I am relisting this car due to a nonpaying bidder the last time. If you have no intention of paying for the car, don't bid on the car. Its just that simple. This clown ran the bid up, told me he/she couldn't finish the transaction after all (which I stupidly let them off the hook with no hit on their feedback), and then had the audacity to contact me later on and ask me if I would take less if they paid cash.
First- please don't play games and bid unless you are going to purchase. I don't have the patience for it.
Second- all I will accept is cash (in the form of green-backs in person, or certified funds like a bank check or cashiers check). This is a cash transaction, therefore I won't give a discount because you are paying cash. I don't accept unscratched lottery tickets, or I.O.U's. If you pay with certified funds, then the money must clear before I release the car, or the title. This usually takes 7-10 business days.
