Introduced in 1984, the Pontiac Fiero was a mid engined sports car produced by General Motors until 1988. It was the first mass produced American mid engined car and incorporated a host of cutting edge features such as plastic body panels and pop up headlights. However despite its good looks and technological advancements, the fuel crisis affected the Fiereo and the car was released as a compact fuel efficient engines that were anything but sporty. 1986 saw the return of... the GT model with updated fastback styling. Just 17,891 were produced. GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this hot 1986 Fiero for your consideration. While initially offered with dull engines and economy car suspension components, this highly modified example is what the car should have been. The biggest change is the fitment of a supercharged GM 3800 series 2 V6 engine that sounds mean and puts down a ton of power. Other mods include brakes from a C4 Corvette, upgraded brake booster, Koni shocks, springs, bigger sway bars, and much much more. This car has been extremely well cared for, with just two owners since new. The car was sold new in 1986 in Las Vegas and remained there until 2014. There are tons and tons of receipts and documents accompanying this car.. The black mid engined body is in stunning shape and has excellent paint and trim overall. The car shows well and is accented by lowered suspension, large 17in alloy wheels, and a rear spoiler. The interior is very originally and in stunning condition. The seats and dashboard and trim are in excellent shape. The car has power windows, power locks, original audio system and climate control. You won't be disappointed by this mean machine!
