Car description

1967 Pontiac GTO ConvertibleStarlight BlackBlack InteriorWhite Top.PHS DocumentedProtectoplate!Nicely optioned #'s car.
I am a longtime Pontiac Collector thinning out my collection. This GTO is very original! This is a super solid Georgia car and I am the second owner. It has had one repaint in correct Starlight Black some years ago, but still shows very well, the car is very straight, and its even more difficult to have a very straight black car. The floors, trunk, 1/4 panels are all original as this car was never a rusty car. The top is just a few years old, and fits very well. The interior appears to be all original to the car, and shows very well.
Engine and Trans were resealed and things like valve seals, timing chain, gaskets, oil pump were replaced. The car has a aftermarket intake manifold and a "off the shelf" quadrajet on it, but I do have the manifold and carb and they will come with the car. The trans was rebuilt at some point with a very mild shift kit. The his and hers factory shifter is fun to use. The car starts right up, no smoke on startup, runs down the road real well, never runs hot, and has loads of power. Power top, power steering, power brakes...everything to make a easy driver.
The radio is not original but I do believe I have the original "somewhere" if I find it, that is a bonus to you. The 8 track is original and sounds well, as good as it did 51 years ago.
All the lights, signals, etc. work as they should. This car has never been cut on, taken apart, ect. It is a great weekend cruiser that has excellent pedigree, no-one will complain about it, has no excuses, is fully documented.
I've listed the car before on eBay and I wrangled with selling it. Then, I put it back up for sale "per the wife" and I get a guy who tried to give me a rubber check. Therefore, I will only accept cash, at my bank, or a wire transfer.
The car is what it is, sells itself...Look at my feedback, I have a history of selling very nice stuff!
You can reach me on my cell at any reasonable hour, at 630-273-7595
I'm not a dealer, I do not offer financing nor am I interested in working with your finance company...(bad experience)...If you have the funds available, I'm happy to show you the car.
This car is a "get in and drive across Country car", it is very reliable...however I haven't driven it but in Parades and to local shows in the past few years. The car always gets a trophy!
I've used several shippers over the years, and I'm happy to assist if you'd like to have the car shipped.
I took a short video and posted it below to give you a better idea of some of the things I look for and ask when buying a GTO.
The car is for sale locally and my minimum bid is the lowest I would consider. This auction will be ended in the event of that local sale! I have clean and clear title to the GTO.
