Car description

Up for sale is a 69 gto /lemans convertible project car that is in need of some restoring, it has a 71 400 motor that runs strong, with a new timing chain, new crane cam, and lifters. Motor has had new bearings, rings, and freeze plugs, and a high output hei distributor. There is a lot of new stuff that has been done all ready, there is a 3 row aluminum radiator, a new alternator, and regulator new starter with battery. There is a new gas tank along with new fuel lines, and sending unit. The brakes were just done with new master cylinder, calipers, hoses, and new front to rear brake lines. The convertible top is new and so is the power top motor and lift cylinders... Works Great.. The car has had new rear quarter panels installed and are just ruffed in needing some finish body work. There is a new gto hood and the trunk and floors have been replaced. Most of the panel replacement was from the previous owner. The car was originally dark green outside and inside. There is new carpet and door panels, new flow-master exhaust system that sounds great. This car has had a lot done already, but still needs work. Most of the lights work, the door locks are new. The front bumper is a steel bumper from a 68 lemans that I put a 69 gto grill in with the flip up headlight doors just mounted there with screws. I have the original 68 grills that can be put back in. I just liked the look of the hidden headlights so I mocked up this until I could find a original enduro nose ..the car starts right up and drivers, but I have only driven it down the block to test the transmission and brakes. The tranni is a 350 turbo and it seems to shift good. It has had new front and rear seals installed and a new b/m tork converter. There is a clear Florida title in my name for this car. This car is well on its way, but still needs some body work and some tinkering to get it on the road again. I hate to sell it at this point, but heath issues are stopping me from doing this now so I guess it is time just let someone else take it from here... I thought my son would build it with me, but he has no interest in this sort of stuff. If you have any questions please ask. This car will be for sale locally too so I have the right to end it at any time this car is being sold as is and were it is with a 500.00 dollar non refunded deposit due at auctions end. The buyer must arrange and pay for any shipping. Thank you and happy bidding ...
