Car description |
---|
This is a very solid car. Hard to find Grand Prix, Doors, Rockers, quarters, fire-wall all very solid, factory posi limited slip, Muncie 4 speed with vintage HURST shifter. Comes with very hard to find 4 speed console, bucket seats, both bumpers are solid will need rechrome, power antenna, power steering, power brekes.
Engine: Correct 1967 400 XZ with 670 heads. Not locked up turns free. Inside of engine is remarkably clean. None vin# engine stamped "PO" believed to be a factory warranty replacement odometer shows approximately 38,000 miles. This engine a lone is very valuable.Trans is a Muncie but hasent been confirmed M20 or M21 yet. All linkage is all there.
Will need a trunk pan (as most of these 60s pontiac's do) floor pans could be patched or completely replaced but are fairly solid. Will need some repairs in the lower corners of the rear window channels very common on these cars and also on the right side trunk weather strip channel. Right fender minor repair in the dog leg area. Left can be repaired but had some previous work done looks like amateur repair, hood was damaged by previous person that dismantled the car. Core Support Is Rough But Battery Tray Is Solid And Those Are Very Hard To Find.
Title: lost but will provide bill of sale. Also have proper Tennessee affidavits for the lost title with surviving owners contact information.
I recently recovered this car it had been dismantled and just sitting in a storage building.Unfortunately previous person gave up on the car not realizing how rare and special this car is. I'm unable to take on this project myself but knew I had to save it.
Contact me with any questions.
I can also deliver for an extra fee and depending on distance.
