Car description

Arizona second owner car. My father and I purchased the vehicle from my uncle back in 2011 as a project we could work on together. Its not perfect, but its as close as we are going to get.We completely stripped the vehicle all the way down to the frame, as it was originally born an automatic red bird. Together we installed brand new interior including the dash, and kept the inside as original as possible besides converting it to a 4 speed manual transmission which is an essential to this muscle car era. After converting to a manual transmission we installed a 6.6 liter Stroked Big Block motor in it, and installed new OE style A/C components. After a lot of consideration on what color to paint the car, we ultimately decided on yellow of that era. There is no better color on a Trans Am than yellow. The beauty in the car is that instead of just being heard, you will now always be seen. We put on new wheels while keeping the honeycomb look;17" x 9" with 5- 1/8" backspacing. The original wheels were 15"but the 17's just look absolutely incredible, as we installed them just 3 weeks ago. With those wheels we put on a new set of rubber, and its hard to dislike the performance of the NittoNT555 G2. We used255/45/17 on the front, and then we used255/50/17 on the rears to give us just a little bit more rubber touching the ground to help keep the tires from spinning. The motor starts quick and easy, and sounds even better than it looks.Over the course of 7 years we have finally finished restoring the car into what it is today, the epitome of a muscle car.
As i said earlier the car is not completely flawless, there are simple fixes that need to be done such as: turn signal switch needs to be replaced on the steering column, as well the speedometer stopped working. Besides those small things, it runs flawless and has been nothing less than reliable.
