1986 Pontiac Fiero that looks GREAT. I sell hundreds of Fiero parts here on ebay, so trust that I will give the full honest description as I know it.
Make an excuse to come to Jacksonville, Florida during the winter and grab this great car. It sounds good, drives straight as an arrow, and has no rattles.
$500 paypal non-refundable deposit at auction end. Balance due within 7 days by bank transfer, Cash, cashiers checks will have to "clear" before vehicle is released. Will assist in shipping anywhere at your cost. I will meet shipper, but I will not load.
2.8 liter V6 and Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, Power windows, mirrors locks, air conditioning, cruise control, intermittent wipers, power trunk, cruise control, and tilt wheel. Factory performance sound with subwoofer, and later model GM Monsoon CD player. AC converted to R134a, and I upgraded the headlights to the 1987/1988 generation 2 wiring, controller and motors. 17" wheels and Nitto tires. No rust in the trunk at all!
I bought the car after it was in super long-term indoor storage, and used my stock pile of parts to put it back on the road, and fix all those little Fiero quirks that only Fiero people know about (Too much to list). Look at the pictures, and you will see the condition of the car.
Here is a laundry list of the important things replaced this winter 2017 to get car on road after sitting for years: Radiator & hoses, Battery, water pump, fuel pump and gas, rebuilt calipers, window dew wipes Clutch slave cylinder, wiper blades and oil change. I replaced much more Fiero specific parts, but to anyone not familiar with Fieros, it would just mean nothing. If you took this to a Fiero club meeting, aficionados would notice the details.
Here are the thingsI know that are not perfect:Battery tray rusted, Odometer is accurate but speedometer reads 10 mph low, driver power mirror does not go up, but does all 3 other directions. Manual transmission leaks and leaves oils spot, and AC works (I testing it after converted it to R-134a, but will need charged.
NOTE: The listing ends on a Saturday, and the following week I may have to go out of town for a couple days (Feb 26 - Mar 1). Holding onto the car while you arrange shipping or your arrival is not a problem. The car is in a safe location. ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING.
