Car description

Hi,this auction is for my 1969 Pontiac GTO that is possibly one of the most loaded 1969 GTO `S made .It has 30 PHS options and around 15 more options that appear to be dealer installed. The PHS options are Vinyl Cordova Top,Safe T Track,Rear window Defogger,Right Mirror Visor,Deluxe Seat Belts,Console,Power Trunk,Tilt Steering Wheel,Tinted Glass,Power Windows,Reclining Passenger Seat,Floor Mats,Cornering Lights,Under Hood Lamp,H/D Air Cleaner,Automatic Transmission,Radio,Hidden Headlights,Remote Control Mirror,Rally 2 Wheels,Rally Gauges /Clock,Power Steering,Power Disc Brakes,Power Door Locks,Power Bucket Seat,Air Conditioning,Rear Floor Mats,Luggage Lamp,HD Battery,G70x14 White Walls .The added on options not on the PHS are: Hood Tach,Ram Air,Power Antenna,Cruise Control,AM-FM Stereo,8 Track Player,Sport Steering Wheel,Right Rear View Mirror,Rear speakers,Tire Inflator with regular and small spare tire,Chrome Exhaust Tips, interior map light on the rear view mirror, and 2 map lights on the interior roof and original wood wheel. The GTO is Midnight Green Metallic with Green Interior and Green Vinyl Hardtop. It`s a three owner car and I`ve been told this is the original engine . The numbers on the block are 0603754 YS .The car has 149,500 original miles. The engine was just rebuilt at 144,000 miles and runs great.Since I`ve owned the car I installed a new harmonic balancer,4 new Uniroyal Tiger Whitewalls,4 new KYB gas adjust shocks, new battery, new voltage regulator, new inner and outer tie rod ends, new upper ball joint,4 new GM center caps, new mufflers, new engine mounts, new headlight actuators and Vacuum Actuator can,and just had the valves adjusted .
Frame is dry and solid,1 Laquer repaint in the 80`s in the original color, vinyl top is nic, but has some small bubbles below the rear windo, rear bumper is excellent, glass is nice,Chrome and Rally wheels are good,no accidents, rust bubbles on lower trunk. Floors and trunk are in good condition,6 inch rust hole on rear inner wheel well on drivers side in front of rear wheel.Runs great, looks good, original interior in very good condition. The GTO needs new seat foam and seat covers on the bucket seats and new headliner- brand new seat foam, seat covers and headliner are included with sale, heater, and defroster all work, rear defogger works, power windows, seats and door locks all work. The GTO needs a paint job ! Things that don`t work are : Antenna, cruise, A, tach, cloc, radio and 8 track. This is my first GTO and is a great car,I just want to buy a 65-67 Vette convertibl, that is the only reason I`m selling it.Suggested retail price in 69 was $3156 and with all the options the total was $5002.54. I have 100 % feedback and I`m telling you all I know about the GTO.If your interested in car call me at 310-804-3599 . My name is Paul and I`ll tell you anything you want to know.I bought the car in 2015 with 143,263 miles on it.As far as I know the original owners were Dale and Virginia Wojtkowski, they sold the car to Tom Benignus in June of 1984. Tom kept the car till his passing in 2014.His neighbor that owned a Harley Davidson dealership brought the GOAT home, rebuilt the engine, did all mechanical work neede, never drove it and sold it to me.Please don`t bid unless you want to buy car. There`s a low reserve on this great, rare GOAT ! .The car was undercoated in the 80`s and the Ram Air needs a few parts to make complete . I`ve checked it out and it appears the engine, transmission, and rear end are original to the car. I`m a Corvette gu, so if any GTO guys see I`m wrong about somethin, Please let me know . It appears this car spent it`s life in Chicago till I brought to Sunn, Malibu, California. From the looks of this car,it didn`t spend much time in the winter weather. The engine is 400 Cubic Inches with 350 Horse Power. Everything looks original in engine compartment. Strip the paint, repair any rust work as needed, paint car and and install interior parts I`ve included and you`ll have a Beautiful 69 GTO ! Also included with sale is the Ram Air cleaner and cover,NOS rear light chrome bezel, new front seat cover, foam, and headliner, right hand outside rear view mirror, and original front and rear floor mats. The numbers on the engine block are 0603754 YS. I was told this was the original engine,if some GTO people out there can verify this for m, that would be great. The intake manifold is original and the numbers are 9794234.
I`m getting many questions about rust on the car. I was underneath it today and this is what I can tell you. The floors, frame rail, and trunk all seem to be in good condition. Underneath the doors and inside the door jambs all looks good. The vinyl top looks good everywhere except underneath the rear window where it will need work. The front inner wheel wells look good, the back inner wheel wells will need some rust repair. Inside the trunk looks good, outside the bottom of the trunk needs rust repair. Once you strip pain, you`ll see what it needs, but from what I see it doesn`t appear to be any major work needed on car. It was undercoated and painted in the 80`s,but I don`t know what the car looked like before that. Any more questions or pictures neede, send me a message. I want the next owner to know everything I know about the car.
More questions are coming in about mechanical condition. After driving this car in Malibu the past 3 years I can tell you it handles and brakes well. Transmission shifts and works fine. Car starts and idles perfect when warm. When the car is col, it starts in 2 seconds, but you have to give it a little gas for 2 minutes till it warms up. I`m sure this is a minor carb fix. Tires are great, exhaust sounds great, suspension is tight and smoot, and it gets around 15 miles per gallon. You can tell after driving this car,it had an easy life and wasn`t driven hard. Engine is very strong with no problems. Get the carb right and this car is a cruiser ! Thanks,Paul
