Car description

Very cool car but not for the purist. This is a 1974 Pontiac Firebird that has been redone as a light resto-mod. Note the color-painted bumpers and other changes. It has a 350 cubic inch V-8 engine mated to a four speed Muncie transmission. The car runs and drives fabulously. I have no idea if it is numbers matching.
The body is very solid and has been restored at some point. The paint quality is good, the gaps and panel fit is also very good. All of the glass is also in good condition. The interior is also very nice with racing belts installed. The vinyl is good with no tears or holes. the carpeting is also good. All of the instruments and controls work. The roof liner is excellent. The car has great looking aftermarket wheels and new tires all in great condition.
The engine is tight and starts & runs easily. Coupled with a four speed transmission, the car goes fast. It does not have posi, so lighting up the rears, while easy, consists of only the one tire spinning. The engine bad is tidy but not detailed.
The trunk is clean and rust free. The only serious rust repair I see on the car is under the gas tank. The rest of the car appears to be solid original.
The car has a formula hood on it which matches the car. Overall, if you like green (and I do), it is a really good looking car.
If you are looking for a show car, this car is not for you. If you want a fun reliable solid driver, this is a great car.
I've tried to show a ton of under side pictures as this is where they rot. As you can see, it is very clean all around.
I am selling the car no reserve on a ten-day auction. I am putting a buy it now up as well. I will be traveling on Sunday, January 21st (when this auction ends), so if it goes to the end, I can reach out first thing Monday.
Any questions or requests to come see it, please call me at 860-883-3998. I have the car in Bridgeport, CT. I have access to a lift. Also, should you like more pictures, shoot me your email address through the contact seller link and I will send to you right away.
Good luck and happy bidding.
